Dubai Airport is available from the Holiday Inn Airport hotel. Pickup from Bab Al Shams, Al Maha resort, and Jebel Ali is available for an additional fee.

What To Expect

Purchase your ticket for your required all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) and departure time. Then, after pickup at your Dubai, Sharjah, or Ajman address or other select location (additional fees might apply), ride a chauffeured vehicle into the Lahbab desert, known for its red-orange dunes. Prebooking lets you secure your preferred date and relax knowing everything is prearranged.

On arrival, don a supplied helmet and after safety instructions, enjoy a roughly 1-hour ATV ride. Roar over the dunes behind your instructor and stop for sandboarding and photos.

Next, visit the Al Khayma desert camp, where Arabic coffee, camel riding, henna art (women only), shishas, and Arabic-dress and falconry photo-ops await, alongside complimentary sodas and water. Join in the activities as you wish before enjoying a delicious barbecue-buffet and live shows, including whirling-dervish and folklore dances, performed under the darkening desert sky.

Participants must be over 14 years of age, and should have a basic knowledge of driving to participate in this activity.
The quad biking segment is solely the participant's responsibility. Any damage, injuries sustained or items lost during the quad tour are not covered by insurance
All participants must sign an indemnity form before the tour
Sharing Bike option, minimum 2 passengers need to book this option, if there is a singular traveler or odd number in the group an extra charge of 37$ applicable for the single passenger.
OceanAir Travels shall not be responsible for any kind of loss, accident, sickness or injury. It is advisable that the traveler should avail a travel health insurance as there can be chances of potential risks and hazards. Also, make sure they are mentally and physically able to participate.

The 11:30 AM Timing slot comes with a Lunch buffet, and it doesn't include the Star Gazing since it's during the day timing
Loose clothes are recommended during summer and long clothes/jackets during winter
During the month of Ramadan, some entertainment shows like Khaliji Dance will not be available.
Pick-up timing is subject to change due to the emerging summer heat: 1 hour earlier in the morning and 1 hour later in the afternoon. A notification shall be sent in advance in the case of any change.

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

We had a great day. Quad ride, sandboarding, camel ride and amazing show at the end. Food was also delicious. Our guide Zada Irfan was lovely. He took us all the way from the hotel for one hour drive to the place in a comfortable car. We will definitely recommend.

We took the tour 2 days after the big rain in Dubai where most of the streets were under water and many services in the city were not working properly. Our great driver & guide Khyal still managed to pick us up and the other guests even through the deep waters! He was a great guide and delivered perfect timing. We arrived at all our destinations in time and he always took great care of us. This was a great tour through the red dunes and it was definitely the highlight of our trip. We would do it again and can recommend this to anyone!

Really enjoyable day, well put together and does not feel rushed considering the amount of activities that they have planned. The tour guides are very helpful. The camp is excellent, great food and shows. Particularly enjoyed the ATVS!

We were a group of 8 with kids and only a couple of us spoke English. Based on our previous experience 4 years ago with a different company, we assumed they would pick us up in two 4x4 vehicles (one English speaking person in each car sitting next to the driver, and the 3 people in each car sitting in the back seat). When the driver arrived to pick us up from our hotel, he said he would only take two people from our group and stop by another hotel to get another family of four. He said the other car would be along shortly. We had to wait 20 mins, in front of the hotel in the heat for the second car. They took 6 passengers per car, two people sitting in the foldable rear seat in the back. It was about an hour long drive and last 20 mins of it was basically off-roading due to a short cut the driver took. Bouncing in the back, hitting our heads to the roof of the car while the driver talks about how the company is one of the biggest in the area and has over 150 vehicles was ridiculous. With the other family and the drivers, we were a total of 14 people shoved into two 4x4 vehicles and off-roading. The drive was very uncomfortable, and the drivers were very unapologetic about the whole situation. The ATV experience was wonderful, the food was delicious, and the entertainment was ok.

Hello, I’d like to start by saying we had a great time with the ATVs however there was a lot of over promising with no actual commitment. I was told that the excursion duration was 6 hours and starts at 2:30 but 2:30 was when we were picked up and had to travel 45 mins to ATVS and told it would be another hour to the camp site. This is an inconvenience to me and other customers if we had other plans in the day which leads me to my next issue. Once we learned from our tour guide that we wouldn’t return to our hotel til 9 or 10, we expressed that we needed to be back at a certain time. We were told that this could be achieved but when it was time to go, this created a dilemma for our group that you’re well aware of. We had 1 extra person in our group who could have went on with other groups to enjoy the rest of the excursion but due to over promising with no planning, time was taken away from her. What makes the situation worse is that someone in your company had the audacity to request we stay after we told you that wasn’t a possibility. It felt as though you’re putting the blame on us when all of this could be easily corrected. In the future, don’t overpromise to your customers without being sure and having proper planning. Also, make sure your whole team is on the same page. If we pay for ATVs, please don’t tell me it’s the same price for a dune buggy but then later tell me it’s more money. That is misleading. I would also like to note that while our issue was being addressed, our tour guide rolled his eyes which is unprofessional. Unprofessionalism seems to be a trend here and needs to be addressed. Times for all parts of the excursion should be listed and followed OR atleast note that times may vary. What you pay for versus what’s included needs to be listed as well. Must Try in Dubai!

A must try and well worthy the money! We got picked up from our hotel. I would highly suggest you to pick up the later afternoon ones. If you wanna cruise in the desert, there is no need for the heat. Morning ones are tough, especially near noon. First we stopped at a shop, highly recommend you buying a local costume to cover you, at least the scarf to cover your head and face in the desert. We had one hour desert cruising with single bike, saw some camels and took some great pics and videos. Then we did sand board. Got a nice smoothie to refresh before headed to the camp for lunch. Very nice buffet, and special dance. I’m sure you’ll also see some stars if you pick the later afternoon ones. It’s gonna be very gorgeous!

ATV riding was wonderful. They take you out a decent ways and offer to take plenty of pictures. The camel ride was a short circle but after riding the ATVs that was okay for us. If going during Ramadan, you don’t get the bell dancing show. Overall, we’re glad we did it.
