What To Expect

Your day starts with an early morning meetup in central Dublin. Settle into your air-conditioned coach for the drive west. There’s a stop to stretch your legs before you arrive at the Cliffs of Moher. Spend time exploring the trails and learning about the area’s history and ecology at the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Centre (admission ticket included).

Back on the bus, travel along parts of the Wild Atlantic Way on your way to the Burren National Park. Get enough time to admire the Burren’s unique karst rocks and Mediterranean, Arctic, and alpine plants before the drive to Galway.

Once you arrive, get ample time to immerse yourself in Galway’s bohemian charm. Wander along the music-filled cobblestoned streets, browse boutiques selling traditional crafts, and stop into a cafe for a bite of local cuisine (own expense) before driving back to Dublin.

Good, just not worth the price.

I think for the price of around $90 USD, it's not really worth it for a day trip. I highly recommend just booking a rental car for the day and just driving to the cliffs, and then to Galway and other places instead. The bus limits what you can do and if you want to stay in places longer, and it leaves extremely early so you are a bit tired and aren't able to enjoy the full experience. Most people on our bus slept through most of the scenic portions due to the early depature.

The tour was really enjoyable for my family. The coach was comfortable, the tour guide Jack was great and helpful and the stops were timed well. The cliffs were amazing. We had sunshine but it was extremely windy.

Peter was an amazing guide for a memorable trip to the Cliffs of Moher and Galway. The views were spectacular, and Peter filled the drive with fun stories of landmarks, Irish history, and Irish culture. He is by far one of the best guides I’ve ever had, and we were constantly entertained and laughing. Vedran was a smooth driver and got us to all of our stops on time.

Rachael with Finn McCools Tours made this trip great. There’s no getting around the 5+ hours spent on the bus leaving from Dublin. But, she appropriately used the time to give brief history lessons and local lore. The Cliffs, the Burren, and Galway City speak for themselves.

Our tour guide was amazing. We loved Colin, he sang traditional Irish songs and gave us a great overview of all the sites. The Cliffs were beautiful and we had plenty of time in Galway to walk around and share a lovely meal. Would highly recommend!!

Great Day even in the rain

It was a rainy, dreary day outside the bus but inside the bus Peter, our guide, kept us happy, comfortable and entertained through his storytelling. While we were not actually able to see the Cliffs due to heavy fog we enjoyed checking out the Visitor’s Center. Nicholas our bus driver was fantastic and maneuvered the narrow roads through the Burren safely and with ease. Galway was a great stop lots of shops and pubs to explore. It was a great day all around. Thank you Peter!
