What To Expect

Your full-day tour of Northern Ireland’s major sights starts with early-morning pickup in central Dublin.

An iconic black cab awaits you in Northern Ireland’s beautiful and infamous capital. This tour gives you a safe and introspective account of this impassioned city, most well known for its history of political and religious unrest. Explore Belfast’s Falls and Skankill neighborhoods, where hundreds of ornate murals impart Unionist and Nationalist political messaging in glorious color. Learn of the city’s industrial roots, its divisive conflict and its current youthful revival.

During the tour, you’ll see several of Belfast’s top attractions, including sites such as the Belfast Docks and the Harland and Wolff shipyard — snapshots of the city’s industrial beginnings. If the sentiment takes you, feel free to request a stop at other notable sites like the Peace Wall, where you can add your name to those of other peacemakers who have touched this monumental city.

The next leg of your journey is the grand Antrim Coastal Drive, taking you along Ireland’s wild, rocky north coast for dramatic sea views and the fairy-tale glens of Antrim. Speaking of drama, stop at Dunluce Castle, a medieval construction that’s enjoying a second life is as the House of Greyjoy in the award-winning TV series "Game of Thrones."

The 2-hour drive brings you to the UNESCO World Heritage–listed Giant’s Causeway. Stretch your legs and enjoy a meander through this geological wonder that has been the source of many Irish myths. Then, get cozy in your coach seat for the return ride back to central Dublin.

We had a wonderful day...

We had a wonderful day with David and Patrick! We had smooth sailing with our driver Patrick and David gave us great information and has a lovely singing voice - giving us a remarkable taste of Northern Ireland. We had a beautiful day and plenty of time to see each stop. We opted for the Black taxi tour and had a very sobering experience with drivers who have lived through “The Trouble” and generously shared their story. The whole day was well organized, all details were seen to and the sites and activities arranged gave us a perfect experience of Belfast and Northern Island! We highly recommend!
An insider view of Northern Ireland
Michela_B, Apr 2024
This guided tour offers excellent value for money. I highly recommend the black taxi political tour, as it provides a unique insider view of the troubles in Northern Ireland. Both our driver, Patrick, and our guide, Jodie, were warm and knowledgeable. Jodie provided us with extra information about Northern Ireland and the sights we were going to visit, and she was always willing to answer our questions.
Definitely worth it
Brian_M, Apr 2024
Absolutely worth it. I will say we chose the black can tour over the titanic museum and we do not regret it. We has a great driver and that alone was worth the money. Giant’s causeway was amazing but you need to plan appropriately. We are first and spent too much time in the pub which limited our time at the causeway. So eat quick, enjoy a pint and start walking it off.

Unforgettable

The tour guide and driver were wonderful and made the experience very lovely. Sean and Krishna were awesome. It was a great experience despite the Irish unpredictable weather.
Great trip

As advertised. Belfast taxi tour was enlightening. We, apparently luckily, had extremely good sunny weather which made DunLuce castle and Giant’s Causeway even more spectacular.
The Black Cab tour in...

The Black Cab tour in Belfast was excellent as was our guide who told the stories with such emotion. We enjoyed Dunluce Castle and then The Giants Causeway and the scenery here was fantastic. We were blessed with excellent weather and had good views of the Arran Isles. Our tour guide Barbara and our driver Billie were both very helpful and informative.
Northern Ireland was beautiful

The guide Rory was great and sights were wonderful. This was a memorable tour. It was a long day but it was worth it.
Great Family Trip
Richard_Y, Apr 2024
We booked this last minute and I’m so glad we did. The tour guide Dave was wonderful. We loved the Titanic museum, Dunluce Castle and Giants Causeway. The weather was pretty good. The Nook restaurant had really good food. We even made a bonus stop. It was a long day but we saw a lot, learned a lot about Northern Ireland, and the ride was comfortable. My sons, aged 8 and 11, had a great time.

Frode_S, Apr 2024
Great tour, but be prepared for a lot of driving. Belfast black taxi tour was good. Great guide. But the tour could have been a bit longer. Would have liked to see a few more locations. Dunluce castle was amazing. So was Giant causeway.
A day to remember in Belfast - Giant's causeway
Janko_Z, Apr 2024
On Sunday, April 15th we went on this tour. We were quite lucky with the weather - most of the day was sunny, apart from a shower that got us completely wet on our way back from the Giant's Causeway. Our tour guide, Una did an amazing job. Her devotion can be truly felt as she explained the history, played us songs, and read poetry. She went out of her way to give everyone an amazing day to remember. Even at the end of the tour, she gave some ideas on what to visit in Dublin. Marko, hvala ti na voznji i sve najbolje ! :)
Amazing

A Great Tour!
Claudyne_V, Apr 2024
The Black Cab tour was amazing! It is offered by people who lived in Northern Ireland during the time of “The Troubles”. The tour guide Barbara was lovely, and Patrick was an excellent driver. Don’t miss this tour!
Highly recommend!

We covered a lot of ground and in the limited time we had in Ireland I got to check off my Belfast bucket list! First of all, to have such a comfortable bus, and Marko, our excellent driver from Croatia, to tour us around safely was the best. I was able to look out the window at all the baby lambs and beautiful countryside without a care in the world. Una, our passionate professional tour guide and Northern Irish Native was full of first hand information about Belfast and its history and brought it all to life for us. She introduced us to traditional music, gave us facts and tidbits about all kinds of things and was very good about keeping us on track. Her instructions were very clear and the whole trip was informative. The Titanic museum was closed so we did the Black Taxi tour instead. Liam, our driver was very passionate about his family’s experiences during that dark, sad time in Belfast and made sure we saw many murals, peace walls and monuments dedicated to the lost lives. We had a quick tour of DunLuce castle and then on to Giants Causeway, my favorite stop. Surely it must be one of the wonders of the world! Take the Blue lane down to the causeway and hike or bus back. The views are beautiful! After we made it back to the top we had a lovely lunch at the Causeway hotel! If you are limited in time and want to see Northern Ireland I can’t think of any better way than this tour!!! Highly recommend!
Beautiful sights and lots of info.

Such a fun trip! The black cab tour of Belfast had a lot of interesting information and the castle and Giants Causeway were beautiful. Our tour guide Brendan was funny and informative.
Magical Day in Northern Ireland
Anastacia_G, Apr 2024
Dave and Krishna were such a fun team to ride with! They made the trip so enjoyable. They were easygoing and personable! John took the time to talk to us all and get to know us. Thanks so much for a beautiful day! Giant’s Causeway was more magical than I could have imagined, and I had a lovely coffee and cake at the hotel on the top of the hill there which put me in great spirits. We didn’t get to cross the little bridge to the rock but saw people who were crossing. I’m glad we didn’t cross honestly, it looked frightening! I was blown away by the old castle too, just luckily not into the ocean! I feel so lucky to be able to go on these trips. The price is nice, but the experience was priceless!
Cramped in the back middle seat, 5 across, no view, no seat rotation
margaret_r, Apr 2024
Good driver, good guide. Back row middle seat with 5 across, couldn't see a thing. No seat belts by others so body boundary cramping intensified. Had to exit bus at each stop and wait for other back 4 to re-enter, no slide over room. Made reservations 1 week ahead. Tour fully booked, no seat rotations to help, awful. 4 in back max. 13 hour tour, awful, awful!
