Such an immersive experience! Iván and Mitchell were amazing guides through the rainforest. Iván provided amazing information about the history of El Yunque along the way and encouraging to be brave at the challenging parts. Mitchell was especially helpful getting me up through parts that were difficult for me to climb. The rainforest is such a special place, and just beyond beautiful.

Beautiful and Fun
Priscilla_M, Mar 2024
Our tour guide Evan kept us engaged with both his knowledge and humor. Be prepared that the trail can get muddy and slippery but to be rained on while walking in the rainforest, seeing the beauty all around and jumping off a cliff, sliding down rocks and/or swinging on a rope into a waterfall is an experience I'd recommend.
Amazing memories

John and Francisco were great guides! This is a very physical activity with unsteady and slippery terrain. So much fun.
A blast!
Cole_H, Mar 2024
Hosts were definitely working hard to keep everybody having FUN & being safe! What a treat to slide down a big waterfall, jump from a high rock & go out on a rope swing into the waters of El Yunque! Amazing fun!
A fun hike and beautiful waterfall area for swimming/rope-swings
RICHARD_H, Mar 2024
Our tour guides - Anthony and Ivan - were awesome and super helpful. This was a fun trip/experience, though if you're not in shape, some of this hike will be challenging as you are walking through narrow trails (where you have to put one foot in front of the other to get through). Also - very important note to everyone... if you are booking this trip - do the EARLY session. We did the 8:30am one, and it was super busy at the waterfalls area, though ... as we were leaving there were like 500 people waiting to get in on the hiking trail. Read: later in the day, this is a tourist mega-hotspot, and if you don't want to wait for HOURS at the waterfall to do the rope-swing/rock-slide then do the early one!!! Also, do NOT bring shoes that you care about, as they will 1,000,000% get soaked/muddy. Absolutely NO way around that.

We had a great time and loved the experience. Our group and guides were awesome. We have tons of pictures and video of the whole thing. My teenagers loved the trip as well which is something! It was a great day in the rainforest and memories that will last a lifetime!
Excellent tour guides...

Excellent tour guides with excellent views! My friend and I enjoyed our time through the rainforest and saw some things that were new to us, and even went down a natural water slide! It was amazing. Highly recommend!
Fun and unique adventure with a great guide!

Fantastic adventure! John was a terrific guide...sharing rainforest info, taking pictures and videos, and ensuring everyone was safe. Definitely an adventure scrambling over roots and crossing a river. From the trailhead it was a 40 minute walk to the river. Because of the crowds for the rope swing we left our backpacks, etc. and climbed further up the hill to reach the two natural waterslides. So much fun going down both of them! Making our way overland back down the river we then did a cliff jump (high/medium/low height choices) and a rope swing into the river. Then a 25 minute hike back to the parking lot / trailhead. Very happy with our experience and highly recommend. Only heads up...there were many, many other tourists at the river waiting turns as well for the slides and the jumps. One other tip...you will be in the river quite a bit with whatever footwear you are wearing (sneakers, water shoes, sandals, etc.) so be prepared to get wet!
Great experience

Anthony & Omar were so good. This was such a great experience. We had a large group of 12 including 6 children under 11 and they were patient, attentive and so helpful. Highly recommend this experience.

The river, the swing & water slide. Loved swimming in the fresh water. Was happy to drive my own car & be able to leave from location.

So fun to do the tour! Enjoyed everything! I would recommend it! But you will get dirty so don't use white cloths and shoes!
Incredible adventure with our guide Anthony
Sarah_Z, Mar 2024
We had the most incredible time in El Yunque! Our guide Anthony was so kind and knowledgeable! He made us feel safe and we had the best time with the cliff jump. Highlight of the trip for sure! Would recommend 1000000000/10!
Unique experience and great fun@

Our guide was great. Swimming in the clear water and swimming on rope and diving off rocks. The scenery is beautiful!
Uber not allowed - be sure to have your own transportation, Uber is not allowed.
Romello_C, Mar 2024
We ended up not going, unclear instructions - called for assistance and the tour guide did not get back to us until 10 minutes after his arrival, which was after the pick up time. He told us we were not allowed to Uber and follow the group to the rainforest therefore we were unable to go and we wasted money on our trip. We paid for the tour for no reason, and were there first ones at the meeting point and were calling the tour guide for an address to enter into the Uber but he responded to everyone else in the group chat except for me, and I called and texted him directly. There was little to no help/guidance
Familia fun

Bryan was a very good tour guide. He had texted me multiple times to confirm anmd show me what to expect before going. He stopped multiple times to make sure that all his group was able to catch up. He would point out different unique things and told us some history of the rain forest as well. I have a 9, 16 & 18 yr old with me and my husband and he made sure that no one fell behind. I would say take some shoes that you don’t care to get ruined. My 18 yr old wore her white shoes and they are now orange. Yes there was mud. And no way to walk around it. I am not in the best shape and if was a slow enough hike that I was not exhausted by the end. Once we made it to the first pool we broke off to do a more strenuous hike. And I mean climbing rocks!!! This is were the waterfall and water slide were. Bryan took videos and pictures annd just transferred them no charge. Also 2 rock jumps and the rope swing. My 3 girls loved it. And we would go back again Thanks Bryan for a great tour!
Great experience!

This excursion was so much fun, more than I expected, and definitely adventurous. Brian was our guide during our visit and he was incredible. Not only was he extremely charismatic, he was knowledgeable, helpful, and passionate. They assisted with ensuring that we each got a video and pictures of our adventure which was such an unexpected incentive. My only critique would be that the excursion is scheduled for approximately 3-4 hours and we completed ours in 2.5 hours. Nonetheless, the experience was worth every penny. Come comfortable, don't be afraid to get dirty, "embrace the mud", and have fun.
Its cool and easy if you go to the gym at all
Peter_B, Mar 2024
Sliding down the natural slide was awesome! Well worth the hike from the earlier cliff diving area..
Our tour guide Anthony...
Raymond_H, Mar 2024
Our tour guide Anthony was truly amazing and very informative about the rain forest. Anthony was on time and even waited a couple extra minutes for my husband and I to arrive to the meeting point.
Fun hike!
Christina_R, Mar 2024
My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our experience hiking El Yunque. Our guide, Brian, was very knowledgeable of the land and very nice. I would definitely recommend, but they are not kidding when they say you should be in shape if you do this. You will be climbing steep muddy trails and going down the same way. Definitely wear shoes that you would be willing to throw away after, you will get very muddy.
