Great time

Such a fun trip. Met some people from the US everyone was very friendly. Took us to great spots and overall had a fun time. Thought it was a boat tour oops it’s a car. But it was great to see the coast.

Terrible communication

We received an email the previous night stating the time needed to be changed due to technical problems with a tour van. I replied confirming the later time. The following morning I received a phone call stating we are late to our original time slot and the later spot is no longer an option. We book this tour months in advance and after traveling from the US we were not able to see what would have been one of the highlights of our trip.

I went as a solo traveler and had a great time! Rilany and I missed the drivers name but they did a fab job showing us around! It was great to relax and enjoy the sites. We had a fun group also! Would definitely recommend.

The "small group" is a fiction.

The tour description said that it would be 8 person maximum. We were a group of 8. When we arived for the tour it turned that there was one guide for lots of people The tour description does not tell you that they have one guide but can put 8 people in each van and then take as many vans as they choose. The "small group" is a fiction. SInce the guide was in another van, we did not get to ask him any questions during the long van rides from one location to the next. However, it might not have made much difference. The guide did not know much about the locations. When we asked him about some of the uinque plants, he knew nothing about them. I later found a plaque on our trail that explained about the plant life and suggested that he read it. He also did not know much about the geology of the region. Because we were a larger group, we had trouble getting photographs because some people wanted to post pictures of each of them individually at key locations.

Unfortunately we do not control the way "Tripadvisor / Viator" display the information about the tour numbers. We have tried on multiple occasions to change this with them directly with no success. Good evening, thanks for taking time to write a review, and sorry for not giving you more time but our tour is 5 hours and some other clients need to take a bus to sevilla . But according to the itinerary we were supposed to stay only 1 hour but our guide give 1 more hour . Swimming is at your own risk always looking the sea conditions.

Unfortunately i’m not able to rate the experience itself because when we booked, we received wrong information related to the meeting point, causing us to go to to a different place. When i contacted the tour operator to ask why nobody was showing up, they told us the location was another one and that the bus had already left, without even trying to contacts us or wait a few more minutes. The low rating is related to this bad management from the tour operator

Good morning, thanks for taking your time to write a coment about your booking, but we find it very unfair your review since you didn't show up at the meeting point 15 minutes before the departure time as we sent emails to our costumers the day before and you called us 5 minutes after the departure time . Its not our fault that you being late for the tour and for respect of our costumers that were on time .

Beautiful caves, but inaccurate description of what is included

The caves themselves were beautiful. However it was disappointing that various items that are described as being included (e.g lotion, umbrellas, wet suits, flippers) were NOT included. Every other group bodyboarding were also wearing life jackets, we didn't have any. Luckily we went on a relatively calm day but even the odd wave pushed us off course. At some points, we were worrying close to the sharp rocks without any protection. They also ask everyone to put their phones into one dry bag. Little care is then taken of them when they tip them out all together on the sand. It was convenient to book this before arriving in Faro, but ultimately it was not worth the £50 per person!

Good afternoon, thanks for taking your time to write a review, but disagree about your coment since we have lifejackets, sunlotion and unbrellas and flippers ; our Lifeguards that swim to the cave asked everyone about the sun lotion ( most people bring their own ) also about the Wetsuits ( with 38 degrees nobody ask for them and nody need them with 23 sea temperture, we also have sandals and every single clients is asked before they head to beach . You were just distracted. Our Waterproof bag for your phone are for all the phones and carefully placed inside this bad that are given inside the cave together with a towel to dry your hands and a another towel to clean the lent of your camera for a better pictures . As specified in the description, this activity is for swimmers, and every single client is asked before the departure and before they head to the beach if they have swimming knowledge and given a lifejacked if they feel unsecured even when there are 3 Lifeguards Swimming with the group.

Tour guide soured the experience

My friend and I booked this tour last week. The staff were punctual and the transport was comfortable. However the waterproof bag provided is one bag for all the phones of the people on the tour. My phone got damaged, not from water but the touch screen button was smashed. My friend and I saw the main tour guide tip the phones out of the bag and onto the floor of the vehicle after we returned from the caves. When we drew his attention to the fact that my phone had been damaged he initially said about compensation being offered when return to Faro. However on our return to Faro he said he did not believe that my phone had been damaged in his care and refused any kind of compensation or acknowledgment of the damage and instead accuse us of lying about it. Moreover he had a bad attitude toward my friend during the tour, making an issue of the fact she had sand on her bodyboard and his colleague would have to clean it, bearing in mind we were on a Sandy beach, this seemed unfair. The overall attitude of the main tour guide soured the experience and very little history was given about the caves.

Good afternoon, thanks for taking your time for a review but your phone was broken before the tour start and the phones were never on the floor , they were all carefully place on a towel inside the car for the clients to take , after the swimming people get into the van with sand and we never asked to clean the sand since this is a beach tour and sand beach is normal for us to clean after the tour .

A great experience and wonderfully planned. A punctual pick-up taking us directly to the beach where we went on the bodyboards. We had a brief safety talk before bodyboarding to the amazing Benagil Cave. After this we travelled to another hidden beach and had some time to swim, sunbathe and chill on the sand. Well organised and run. Very friendly and encouraging staff.

Do it before they close the cave due to erosion

Quick road trip to the Benagil cave, awesome easy swim out with boogie boards and spent a reasonable amount of time enjoying the cave. Side trip to Marinha beach and shown a few special places through the cliff.

Stunning sites but bad tour

Visiting the beaches and cave was an incredible experience, however, what was promised was not what was offered. We were not offered umbrellas, lotion, a safety jacket, and snorkel gear (all mentioned in the details when we booked this tour). We barely were given any information about the area, no history, no geological information. The drive was about 45 mins each way, but there was total silence from our tour guide.

Good afternoon sir/madam, thanks for taking your time to write a review and sorry for the misunderstood regarding the stuff included in the tour , sun umbrella, sun lotion, flip flops , ...we have them inside the van all time but people have to ask for them since most people bring their own sun lotion 3tc... regarding the Snorkelling equipment we don't provide them and isnot included in the package; during the trajectory we play some music for people to enjoy the trayectory. Out guides give explanations about the cave inside of it and not in Marinha beach where people like to go on the beach , have a picnic or walk around the cliff.
