What To Expect

Be ready for pickup at your Fernando de Noronha hotel around 8am; be sure to come equipped with a swimsuit, comfortable shoes, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Climb into a rugged 4x4 vehicle with your guide at the helm, in the company of just 10 other people. Traveling with such a small group ensures personalized attention from your guide and plenty of chances to ask questions.

At Projeto Tamar, meet with a biologist on site for an introduction to the area's biodiversity. Explore Sancho Bay, consistently voted one of Brazil's best beaches because of its white sand and clean, calm, waters.

Continue on to Porto's Beach, home to Rachel's Hole and the Sharks Museum. Learn about the history of the local fishermen at St. Peter's Chapel, which also offers beautiful views of the island. In the Southeast Bay, go diving in waters frequented by sea turtles and sharks. Visit additional beaches such as the Mirante da Praia do Leao, Cacimba do Padre (with views of Morro Dois Irmaos) and the Bay of Pigs. Finish up with a sunset viewing at Mirador do Boldra before drop-off back at your Fernando de Noronha hotel.
