A very long day can be expected but definitely worth the time. Our driver and guide Gabe, was fantastic. We were lucky to have him and I suspect he is one of their best. He was funny, helpful and informative and also put all of his guests first. Many beautiful sites along the way. The cruise was full of wonderful views of waterfalls, waterfalls and waterfalls! The food served on the cruise was just "OK". Probably the only disappointment. All in all though, it was a great time and recommended. Thanks so much Gabe!

From the start it was fantastic. Our bus driver Stan was amazing with wealth of knowledge and information during our trip which made it more enjoyable. Scenic to Milford Sounds was nothing short of amazing. The cruise was also fantastic with buffet lunch being provided. Would highly recommend this to anyone contemplating this trip.

we had the most horrible experience. We were told we are upgraded and we were asked to come early. It was raining heavily. They did not take us for the cruise. We only got to the boat and got meal. All the other people who came later we sent on the cruise ride as well. we came all the way from India and had the most pathetic experience. If it was raining why didnt they inform us before and shift us to later tour which was our original tour? we upgraded and thats why we had to suffer. It was my 25th wedding anniversary and I have come all the way from India just to celebrate it and it turned out to be the most horrific moment. We wasted our entire day because of this.
You have given us only partial refund . This is not acceptable. I humbly request you to initiate the full refund for the trouble we went through. Please understand I am here all the way from India

We got a call to upgrade our trip and called early at 6.10 am. We went all the way to Base point and given lunch and then announced not going in Cruise which was main part. We were brought back to town. We feel we should be given refund of appx 2/3rd amount. You should have defined cancellation in case can not go by cruise and just Road journey. We wasted our day

The boat ride on the Milford Sound was fantastic with the views of glaciers and falls. We saw a few dalphins and seals but no pingouins. The coach ride is quite long (4 hours) to go and same to come back with not a lot of stops along the way.

Milford sound is unique. Getting there with a pleasant drive, breathe taking scenery and knowledgeable guide (Chris), who made relevant stops, render this experience “excellent”

The bus driver was excellent. They leave exactly ON TIME. DO NOT BE LATE - they will leave you.
The ride to Milford Sound was very long (roughly 4 hours) with a breakfast/restroom stop 2 hrs in, then a couple other view stops.
Arrival at boat cruise on time, minimal wait. Immediately after getting on boat, go to the top deck (wait to eat buffet lunch) until after you pass the first waterfall (within 5 min of pulling out of port). Then go eat. Food was okay, especially if you are really hungry. The cruise is very nice. Only lasted 1 hr and 45 min though. We expected to actually go out into the sea to be able to see the sound from a distance. Tour advertises 3hr cruise - not today.
Of course the trip back is the same, one stop for restroom about 2 hrs back.
Comfortable ride. Just a very long day. Would NOT recommend for kids/babies.
It’s 12-13 hours.
The views are awesome and we would recommend for anyone considering.

The entire was awesome and very picturesque scenery. Stan , the coach driver and guide gave useful inputs and travel tips ..witty and ensured all of us got the best out of the trip . Strongly recommend to all tourists to NZ .
