What a great tour!! This was our favorite we did in all of Italy. We got to see so much of the city and also the view at Piazza Michaelangelo. Our guide provided great history and information along the way. I have already recommended this tour to other friends. I highly recommend it, but know you should be an adequate biker. Weaving through tourists and local street traffic in Florence is quite something!

Fun and informative cycling tour

A great way to see all the sights and to get a feel for Florence. Our guide took us to all the tourist locations and was able to keep us informed of the history. A pleasant way to tour around Florence.

The bike tour was a great way to see and learn about the city. This is a historical tour, which takes you into the nooks and crannies of the city. Take the time and travel up to piazzale michaelangelo—so well worth it.

Our children were too tired to do the second part of our bike tour in the morning and Julia offered for us to come back later and she took us on a private tour-it was amazing, above and beyond!

Really enjoyed this tour, however we had a large group. It was hard to keep up with everyone. Bikes were just OK. Would have liked the fat tires as they are easier to ride on cobble stones. Francesco was a very good guide. Very knowledgeable, engaging and spoke good English.

I had a great time on the bike tour. Lorenzo was our guide and he was very knowledgeable and fun. The reason I didn’t rate the experience a 5 star was because we didn’t go to Piazzale Michelangelo aa stated o online. Other than that it was great!!!

Great experience, tour guide was a great historian of the city. Fun bike ride! The only hard part of pedaling was going to Pitti Palace for me. The bike was easy to ride and we were able to see a lot more than we would have walking.

Nice guide, bit lackluster. Heavy in Architecture, could use more passionate stories about the families, politics etc.. bikes were not electric and old, couldn't change gears. Could do with mkre cycling and less stops.

The guide was very knowledgeable . I enjoyed it a lot. It was a bit harrowing to ride among the cars and people of the city but it was a great way to get a quick view of the city!

Fantastic tour guides! While Danielle was sharing is vast knowledge, our other tour guide was taking pictures, stopping traffic for our bikes and making sure everyone was safe and having a good time. Excellent way to see the city and we learned so much. We would highly recommend!

Tour started okay by visiting Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore. Then went ahead to visit another plaza where we looked at a map of the city. our tour guide was okay but didn’t feel we learned too much. Then we proceeded to go uphill for ~ 20-30 minutes, and the tour guide left part of the group behind. He was going very fast, and not waiting for the whole group before crossing lights. This felt very irresponsible. We are in our early 30s, and and older couple was left behind and got lost. We then went to Piazzale Michelangelo, were we had a fantastic view of the city, but overall no history at all from the tour guide. Oh the way back, our tour guide kept going without looking behind, and some group members stayed behind, since the lights in Florence change very quickly and there’s is a lot of car and pedestrian traffic. We all got lost at the end, but found our way back. This could had been an overall great experience, but so far has been the worst tour that I have ever taken.

Let me begin by saying I have taken Viator tours many times and they NEVER disappoint. They run their tours well and are a great value. This bike tour was with Antonio and he was amazing! So knowledgeable, kind and patient with a couple of 60 year olds biking around crowded Florence. I highly recommend this tour as we leaned so much and ask for Antonio!!!

The ride was about 11km, initially in the city passing the cathedral etc, but then crossing the Arno with a good view of the Ponte Vecchio and climbing up a hill to the beautiful 11th century Abbazia di San Miniato al Monte and returning by another route. The bike was comfortable, with intuitive gears. The tour guide was informative, engaging and set a gentle pace on the climb up the hill, the views are stunning and the information gleaned informed the rest of our stay in Florence Thank you for a lovely morning.
