Our tour guide Teddy was fantastic. Her knowledge of the history and architecture of Florence coupled with her exuberance for food and wine pairings made the tour exceptional!

We had three stops and the first two were VERY disappointing with 2 small mediocre pastas at one, and the other had liver pate which was fiair and a verfy disappointing bean soup. Portions tiny. The third stop was great with plenty of food, excellent steak, Vin Santo, a repeat of the bean soup with a larger portion and very good tasting. The guide was pleasant, but gave no information about the food. I would trhy a different company next time.

No one from the tour company showed up. No contact. Scam?

Was at the meeting place from 1630 to 17.15. No one identified as The Roman Guy to be seen anywhere. Called the number given twice but “Due to high call activity” no one was available to help. Reported it that night. No response. Scam? Have contacted my credit card to request a refund

Our guide, Anna, was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable in the history of Florence. The food was very tasty. She went above and beyond by walking us to the train station. Bravo Anna!

We were a family of six that truly enjoyed this food tour. Our tour guide, Theodora was impressively splendid. She was warm, friendly, funny and quite knowledgeable. We were able to enjoy a wonderful meal at three different locations and were quite impressed with the overall quality of the food. Would highly recommend this tour.

Excellent tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the area and the food. Our group was awesome and made the evening more enjoyable while eating the foods and drinking the wine of Florence. Our guide also gave us suggestions on other things to do and places to eat.

Our guide, Sofia, was amazing! There were just three of us on the tour so she could be spontaneous and give us lots of attention. Her knowledge of Florence and the food scene was tremendous, and we enjoyed three delicious stops at restaurants. A very fun experience!

I enjoyed being in a small group (it was just 4 of us), so we got more personal attention. I liked walking through that part of Florence and getting a little bit of history along with the food tasting. Our guide was wonderful.

You will learn more in three hours of this tour than in a week of trying to figure it out yourself/ guidebooks and so forth. The Tuscan steak was amazing. The tour really exposed me to many things most people miss staying in their hotel rooms.

Yael was our tour guide and she was wonderful. We met on the square as promised, and she brought us to the restaurants. I would have preferred a bit more food, as I was a bit hungry at the end of the night, but all in all she was fun. Sweet and friendly, a native Florentine we had wonderful wine and food and conversation, and that’s exactly what we signed up for.
Not worth the price

The tour guide was nice but there definitely was not enough food to make it worth the price. We started with a few cheeses/salami and a small bowl of ribolita soup. The second place we have a few pieces of bread with olive oil and spreads. The third place we have ribolita soup AGAIN and shared a steak between 5 people. It was a poor experience with very few foods to try. There was no pasta or gelato. And i’m not sure why they thought it would be good to serve us the same soup twice. There was enough wine. Overall, book with another company. I saw similar reviews and wish I booked with another company.

There was three stops on our food tour. First for an appetizer that was a small charcuterie board. Didn’t feel that it was anything special Italy or Florence, second was wine tasting in a wine cellar that was really impressive, next was dinner at a local restaurant (served pasta (good) florentine steak (not that great) filled by biscotti and sweet wine for desert.) expected there would be more to the meal.

This was a wonderful experience. I feel we were so lucky to have Lori as our guide. Smart, well informed, considerate. The kind of person you would like to have as a friend. We leaned a lot from her. The food and wine at the stops were very good and informative. I don't think there could have been a better way to spend our first evening in Florence. Thank you
