Perfect to see the city!

AWESOME! We did this our first afternoon in Florence, and it was a great way to get a brief history of the city, as well as to get our bearings. Our guide, Francesco, was a blast, speaking to other guides and locals as we drove through and bringing smiles! He was wonderful at offering to take our photo at all the hot spots, and even showed us some local favorites for perfume, dinner, and gelato! We had an amazing time and would do it again!

This was a great experience! Santiago was our guide and he was prompt, courteous, and very thoughtful. We saw many important sites and the highlight was getting a view of Florence from Michaelangelo’s plaza and beyond. Highly recommend.

Fun but…unlicensed?

We had such a fun time on this tour, our guide seemed to know everyone in town as well which was entertaining. I found out later that many golf cart tour guides aren’t actually licensed, hence the recording they play at the destinations. This would take away jobs from the licensed tour guides in Italy, so I’m not sure I would do this again.

Our driver was very accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable. He took his time explaining different sites and allowed us the opportunity to take pictures. As we stopped at the main attractions. It was relaxing and interesting. Be sure to confirm the meeting spot.

Very disappointing tour. The guide was hard to understand and her voice did not project at all... not even the person sitting in the front with her could hear half of what was being said. We asked several times if she could speak up to no avail. The golf cart was also a problem. It was quite cold, windy and started to rain so the guide tried to close the plastic covers, but two of the zippers didn't work... so we were all left freezing. We woukd have done better on our own!

Definitely a must tour to do in Florence.

Driver (Sebastian) was awesome! Since we were the only ones on the tour, he just talked to us about the sites and showed us best picture sites, took pictures of us at the areas and allowed us short stops. Showed best shopping areas, gave restaurant recommendations . Had the best time. Will definitely do again.

The guide! He was excellent and so much fun! Had the kids engaged the whole time! He even took us for gelato! I felt we truly got more than a glimpse of Florence in a few hours because he was so knowledgeable and a proud local. He was like the mayor of Florence- everyone knew him!

This tour was a fantastic way to see most of the highlights of the city, including ones that are out of the way and harder to access (Piazzale Michelangelo and Basilica de San Miniato). It would have taken us at least a full day to hit all of these sites on our own. Rodrigo was a terrific tour guide, very knowledgeable and friendly.

Set low expectations

Set low expectations this is nothing like the tours offered in Rome. Our family of 4 took this tour. Pros: we saw lots of landmarks and got many family pictures. We made the best of it, and laughed it off and have some funny memories. We did not have to walk. Cons: this is just an audio tour on a golf cart. The golf cart itself was being held together by duct tape and the seatbelts often got stuck. Not only were there numerous radio malfunctions, but also our guide only spoke Italian and Spanish making communication difficult. I would not book this tour again.
