Martina was great! First time in Florence for my girlfriend and me. We didn’t know the city at all or how best to experience the culture so hanging out with Martina (also a trainee who did a great job) and the 10 other guests was a great way to dive in and not have to make any decisions! Martina brought us to some cool spots in Florence that were prearranged and we sampled great wines, cheeses, meats and got great education on all things wine/pairings and the wonderful city of Florence. Would highly recommend this especially if you are new to Florence.

This was an absolutely fantastic tour to start our visit to Florence. We arrived earlier in the day, settled in our hotel, had a refreshment and walked to our meeting point for 16:30. Much to our amazement, instead of cancelling our tour, my daughter and I ended up having a private tour with our guide, Martina and a new guide in training. Turns out, fewer tour reservations in April, but what a well kept secret. April is a wonderful time to visit Italy and this tour, off the beaten track, perhaps another well kept secret. It was historically and gastronomically informative, entertaining and delicious! Martina was exceptional!! Not only was she a great tour guide, friendly, knowledgeable, prepared, prompt, and organised but she was an actual sommelier and spoke English perfectly. We traversed the Oltrarno side of Florence where you find more locals eating and drinking. We visited many small shops and restaurants and met their lively and friendly owners tasting wine, cheese, starters, local bread, apéritif’s, sides, pasta, cocktail, main course and of course gelato! Highlights were skip the line at a now well known wine window and the personal attention and service everywhere we went. Lastly I must mention my daughter has celiac and cannot eat gluten, IN ITALY! Martina arranged everything to be gluten free and my daughter partook in everything. Either the menu was chosen because it was already GF or it was made especially for her to be GF. We were blown away with their consideration from beginning to end. To top it off, I misplaced something along the way and Martina took the time and called every single shop owner to help me find it. Couldn’t have had a better experience.

Nice tour with lots of food tastings

Nice tour to see a different part of Florence. We tried a lot of different foods, fell in love with the spritzer drink Select which they drink and tourists drink Aperol spritz. Guide was not nice but would have liked her to talk more about food and the city overall vs just the food we were eating or restaurant going into.

Dear Maura, we would say that there was a little confusion here, as we don't serve Aperol Spritz in our tours, only local wine and the most Florentine drink, Negroni! Maybe this review was meant for a different business? Good times in Firenze

Our introduction to Firenze was an incredible one thanks to Martina and her food/drink tour service. Our guide Martina was not only charming and quick witted, but incredibly knowledgeable about not just the local scene, but the history of Firenze as well. On our tour we saw many unique features of the town and several colorful characters. Wine windows and cheese kings were not things we were expecting to encounter on an unguided tour! For anyone looking to have a good time, especially first time visitors, this is a "do not miss" opportunity.

Catalina was an exceptional guide, friendly and knowledgeable and engaged with everyone and their questions. This was an amazing night. Eva was a wonderful guide and provided lots of information on wines, cheeses, meats, and other dishes. There was plenty of food and wine.
