What To Expect

Start the day with skip-the-line access to the Accademia Gallery, home to Michelangelo’s 'David.' Nothing prepares you for the scale of this sculptural masterpiece. Your guide helps you appreciate the artistry from every angle, including the techniques Michelangelo used to make marble look smooth as butter.

The highlight of the city walking tour is the Florence Cathedral, whose incredible red dome is the city’s crown jewel. The dome was not without challenges for architect Filippo Brunelleschi, as your guide explains while you view the masterpiece from outside. Entrance to the Duomo is always free, so you can come back at any time to explore the cathedral in more depth, equipped with an abundance of knowledge shared by your expert, local guide.

Your tour continues through the historic center of Florence, taking in the Piazza Signoria, where 'David' once stood.

Skip the line once more at the Uffizi Gallery. Our coordinator will hand you the ticket to enter this immense gallery where you will visit at your own pace, wasting no time in showcasing works by Da Vinci, Botticelli, and Titian. Don’t forget to rub the nose of 'Il Porcellino,' Pietro Tacca’s Baroque bronze boar sculpture, to bring the rest of your vacation good luck.

Whether you’re only in Florence for a day or settling in for a longer stay, this is the perfect introduction to a city where beauty awaits around every corner.

Famous Florence art.
Priscilla_W, Mar 2024
David is just WOW. The Uffizi's centuries old artwork amaze. Our guides connected Florence's history and art with their enthusiastic and energy. We'll worth the time.
Awesome tour
Larry_W, Mar 2024
Seeing all of this incredible art and the stories behind them was amazing. Both galleries were so wonderful to behold and not nearly enough time to see everything. Block out some time after the tour ends to stay and look closer at all of these works
Great way to see the highlights
Sterling_K, Mar 2024
Learning the highlights and finding the cool things about Florence was great. Our guide was very knowledgeable and welcomed questions.
Excellent and very complete
Nicole_R, Mar 2024
Excellent and very complete tour. The walking around town tour and Accademia part with our guide Sarah was fantastic, she gave us great insights. The Uffizi Gallery with Stefano was great and he was very knowledgeable. We had enough time for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed our day.
Wonderful tour, so much to see it' s a two part tour!
Kathy_L, Jan 2024
We enjoyed our tour and our guide Massimiliano. We didn't realize it was a 2-part tour, but we found we had enough time in between to get lunch. Seeing the artwork and The David were a highlight.
Great day trip
Greg_P, Dec 2023
We stayed in Rome so took a day trip to Florence. This tour was a great way to see the highlights and took a late train back. Angelo was an excellent guide. Great day!
Fantastic tour of Florence
Lyndon_H, Dec 2023
Excellent, informative! Under extremely windy conditions, the walking tour guide gave us an insightful and thoughtful tour of this gorgeous city.
Perfect stop for art history buffs
Tony_B, Nov 2023
The Florence tours were great despite the cold, wet, windy weather. But it was late November, after all. Kudos to the morning tour guide. She was a real trooper not allowing the adverse weather affect her presentation.
David and academia tour was great
Tobin_M, Nov 2023
Academia and David were great. Explanation of the background history was beneficial. Uffizi tour I did not thing was very valuable.
Must be at the meeting point on time!
Joyce_L, Nov 2023
I was late for the booked tour as I got loss in Duomo square. However, the coordinator was good to let me join the next available tour when I finally found the meeting point. The guide was OK but maybe I was a bit disoriented with the loss, I did not hear it clearly when and where to get back for Uffizi Gallery after the Academia Gallery and the break. So, I missed out the 2nd session of Uffizi Gallery tour. What a pity!
Response from Host, Nov 2023

Great experience!

Matt was so knowledgeable and friendly! We had a private tour and it highlighted the perfect amount of art!
Excellent tour of Uffizi, Accademia, and central Florence

Florence and David
Jerry_T, Oct 2023
This was two tours, Uffizy Gallery and Academia Gallery along with a tour of Florence. Annette, our tour guide was so knowledgeable about the history of Florence and the two galleries. The culmination of the morning tour was to see the statute of David, its was incredible to say the least, the height of the statute was 14 feet. Michelangelo did a superb job creating this masterpiece. The afternoon session was looking at art from the Medeci collection and was very impressive. We highly recommend this tour to see art and statutes at its finest.
Excellent
Claudia_A, Oct 2023
We had L’Accademia tour in the morning with Stephanie and the Uffizi tour in the afternoon with Claudia. Both were excellent, lively, and really knowledgeable. I wish we had more time between the two tours to explore a little bit of L’Accademia more and have a little more time for lunch (it ended up being just 45 min).
A long day with two separate tours
labwilk, Oct 2023
Two parts to this tour - the first was a walking tour from the Uffizi to the academia and the David - about 12 people with headphones and a guide. Very busy, lots of crowds to negotiate- the guide did her best. The afternoon portion was inside the Uffizi concentrated on the art. Nine people in the group and it was much better. Guide was passionate about choosing the best pieces and her explanations were clear and understandable.
Im happy I joined this tour.
Piero_S, Oct 2023
Had 2 tours and both guides were amazing. Sadly I only remenber Giovanna s name. She was amazing, funny and so knowledgeable. Im happy I joined this tour.
This was best informative...
Terry_B, Oct 2023
This was best informative tour of Florence. Guides were amazing. I would have gone through museums not knowing what I was looking at.
Good!
Marie_M, Oct 2023
The group was easy to find which was a nice change compared to other tours we’ve been on. The guides were good and friendly, could hear them on the radios.
Excellent!
Susan_C, Oct 2023
This is a two part tour. We liked both parts. Our first guide was excellent. Did a walking tour of historic landmarks and provided brief informative commentary along the way. Tour of the David was great. The directions for meeting point and organization of tour was really good. Second half met up after 1 1/2 hr break. Second guide was also good, but harder to understand. Recommend 👍🏻. Skip the line entry was fantastic! Highly recommend bringing your own ear buds for all these types of tours BTW.
Enjoyable tour!
RonaldJ_Z, Oct 2023
Sarah and Annette were excellent guides. Both were very knowledgeable and entertaining! Enjoyed the day tremendously!
