What To Expect

Your Vespa tour will begin in central Florence, where you’ll meet your guide and head straight to our garage for a brief safety overview and practice ride before hitting the road. Saddle up on your stylish Vespa and follow your guide through tree-lined avenues until you reach the hills in the countryside.

Admire panoramic views of Florence from the Church of San Miniato al Monte before taking a peek inside. The Romanesque church hosts an array of incredible artwork and is one of the city’s lesser-known gems.

Continue into the Tuscan hills, past poppy fields and vineyards, with plenty of opportunities to pause for photos. As you travel back toward Florence, pull over at Piazzale Michelangelo, where views of the Arno River and the iconic Duomo stretch out before you.

Conclude your adventure with a Tuscan meal (menu for lunch is bruschetta, pasta and a cheese and salami board). Sit back, relax and soak up the Italian spirit before heading back to your original departure point.

  • Please advise any specific dietary requirements at time of booking. Please note: this tour is unable to accommodate Vegans food requests
  • The type pf Vespa you will be driving is automatic with no gears
  • Menu for lunch is bruschetta, pasta and a cheese and salami board
  • Pregnant travelers cannot participate to this activity
  • We request to sign a waiver for damages incurred to the vehicle because of customer negligence or error while driving. Only third party insurance is included
  • We cannot accept pregnant travelers
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 20 travelers

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Amazing views, great food, and fantastic guide

We had a fantastic time and our tour guide was amazing and so informative. The food was incredible and the views even better. The only small complaint was that we wish we had been warned about the difficulty of riding a duo Vespa as it was more difficult to balance than just a single. We would have booked two separate, but are inexperienced and did not realize.

My wife and I had a BLAST! Chris provide an excellent overview of the operation and features of the Vespa while at the same time, providing tips and stressing the importance of safety. Afterwards, everyone got to tryout what they learned under the tutelage of he and Gabriele. Although it was a bit rough going at first for the two of us, we got the hang of it once we got out on the road. Gabriele was our tour guide and he was a wealth of knowledge about the region, including historical facts, its agriculture as well as its wine and olive oil production. He had an antic dote about each location we stopped at and really made it fun and enjoyable for those in our group. Again, he stressed the importance of safety numerous times and he took great care to ensure that we were all safe out on the roads. Il pranzo era fantastico and the view was spectacular! We would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

We loved this tour, it gave us the opportunity to see the countryside and enjoy a nice meal and wine with a group of wonderful people from all over the world. The reason I’m giving this tour 4 stars instead of 5 is because of how long it took for us to get on the tour. The vetting of driver experience took about 1.5 hours which seemed excessive. Other than that it was a wonderful experience.

This was my first time riding a Vespa and it was so much fun. The views were incredible and I felt like a local riding around. Gabe did a great job making sure we all were comfortable with the Vespas before taking off and he was a great guide explaining everything at all of our stops. I would recommend going on this tour.

We were impressed with how our guides taught us to ride the Vespas and tested each rider to make sure he or she would be safe. Once we were on the road, the ride was delightful and the views were amazing. We stopped a couple of times to take breathtaking photos, and for a delicious lunch. We highly recommend this adventure!

Waiver requires you to take ALL financial responsibility and IMMEDIATE RESTITUTION

This tour does not tell you upfront that you must sign a 2 page waiver requiring you to take total responsibility including IMMEDIATE RESTITUTION for any and all damages to the Vespa. The picture looks like you are traveling on a small tuscan country road but you must drive the Vespa within Florence which has so much traffic and you are responsible if something happens. When we refused to sign this waiver, they would not give us a refund we requested as we would not participate after reading the waiver given just before you leave. If we’d have known that a head of time we would have never signed up.

This was an amazing tour! It all started with a very cool and unique bus ride on an off-road bus! I’ve never seen the one like that before - considering how narrow streets in Florence are our driver was such a professional! Our guides - Manolo and Ludovica - were also the best! They were fun, knowledgeable and super friendly. When we arrived at the garage, it was very clean and neat. Mano provided a very informative and fast briefing and everyone was able to follow the instructions on how to ride Vespa. The drive itself was also amazing - breathtaking views, great route, lunch was also very delicious. The only thing that I can complain about - is that it ended too soon :) thank you so much! Definitely recommending this tour to others. Go and enjoy!
