Love My Tour Guide
Elizabeth_G, Sep 2023
We learned so much about Florence’s history. We would suggest you let those on Sunday tours know the tour cannot go inside the Duomo. We loved our Guide!
So incredibly worth it!
Jayne_W, Sep 2023
Our fantastic tour guide was so passionate and educated with wonderful back stories and layers of anecdotal snippets to enhance our experience. Highly recommend.
Great tour! Great tour guide! Great city!
Erik_P, Sep 2023
This tour was outstanding. Our tour guide was very informative and kept everyone engaged during our 3 hours. Highly recommend this tour for those looking to get a deeper understanding of the art and city history.
Florence through the eyes of a well informed, enthusiastic, committed guide, who brought magic to our visit to David
Eilish_K, Sep 2023
Seeing David through new eyes. Our guide Olivia was excellent on the tour. Obviously she knows Florence like the back of her hand
A wonderful tour of top sites in Florence
Catherine_M, Sep 2023
Wonderful tour. I loved seeing it all and great leader. I would prefer a two hour tour, it was a bit tiring.
David walking tour
Camille_B, Sep 2023
This is to see David and a walking tour PAST the Duomo. I guess I missed that part. I was disappointed that we didn’t see inside the Duomo. Otherwise Francesca was friendly, fun and informative.
Lovely Tour of Florence’s Historical Highlights!
Shannon_L, Aug 2023
This was a perfect half day tour of the must-see spots in Florence! We were divided into a small group of just 6 people, which made navigating the crowds so much easier. We were also given earpieces to be able to hear our awesome tour guide, Coletta, no matter how loud it was. Coletta is such a gifted storyteller, which made our experience that much better! We never would have gotten to learn as much while seeing the Statue of David if we had gone on our own. We didn’t have to wait to enter the museum at all, which was perfect. We also spent time in the musical instruments part of the museum, which included the first-ever piano! This was the perfect amount of time to spend exploring such a historic city! Would highly recommend 😊
EXCELLENT!!!
Gianmarco_G, Aug 2023
We only waited 10 mins to get in, Usually 2 to 3 hrs in high season. The guides were on time, very nice and extremely knowledgeable!!!!! Highly recommend them….. This was my first time using VIATOR and will definitely do it again!
Excellent tour!
Maria_E, Aug 2023
This was literally the best tour guide we had in our entire trip to Italy. She was extremely knowledgeable and her English was better than most Americans (myself included). Her passion for her ancestors, her city, and her city’s art was palpable and made the tour all the better.

Our tour guide Marta was excellent! She was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and went at the right pace. Perfect way to start to explore Florence before exploring on your own.
Great tour...Definitely worth the early access!
Sean_P, Aug 2023
Definitely worth skipping the line and getting there early to see David! Guido our tourguide was friendly and great. We walked around Florence the day before and had no idea of the same buildings we were looking at until Guido told us what they were! Overall great experience/
A Most Incredible Day in Firenze
Heidi_G, Aug 2023
This was truly the most incredible experience. As this was my first trip to Europe and to Italy I could not wait to visit Florence (Firenze). Although I injured my knee on my first day here I was determined to see all the works of art I had read about for the last 50 years- so I went anyway on this walking tour. From the initial contact with Loredana and the group it was wonderful. She was engaging, knowledgeable and especially interesting bringing out all the hidden intricate details that make learning about the work, the artist, the time they lived, all the back stories so mesmerizing-she knew it all. And all at once it all came very much alive. One moment -I was in front of a Strativarius, the best of the best and then- I was in front of The David. Later we saw where Dante attended Church and sometime later we were in front of the Duomo of multicolored marble that was majestic and took 200 years to build. The scope of these works are breathtaking. For me hobbling thru this tour in pain, I was particularly appreciative of the concern of Loredana as she guided 13 of us thru the Museum and then thru the streets surrounding- weaving great stories while caring about our comfort as well. If you do nothing else in Italy or in Florence specifically- take this tour.
Plenty of time to gaze upon David, and more
Douglas_D, Aug 2023
This tour, which is operated by the Tour Guy company, combined with its Florence food tour with Florentine Steak, give you a good feel for the history of Florence while introducing you to the major sites. The highlight of this tour is the visit to the museum where Michelangelo’s David is displayed. Over have the tour is spent there. It allows plenty of time to gaze upon Michelangelo’s David -definitely not rushed which was great!! And there also some amazing paintings there as well! (As well as a rest room!!). Outside, there was an opportunity to buy drinks and some awesome bakery items if you want! The rest of the tour was walking around seeing the outsides of the Duomo and Baptistry. The second most impressive area for me was the Piazza della Signoria—DON’T miss it. The statues there are incredible !!
David slayed me, Duomo dominated me
Anthony_S, Jul 2023
Where to start when seeing one of the most beautiful pieces of art the world has ever known? It’s just like so many other things that you see in Florence, the statue of David leaves you speechless. Throw in the fact that there’s so many other beautiful pieces of art and sculptures inside the Accademia that you’re almost left. speechless in trying to talk about this. I’m so thankful for now having experienced this in my lifetime.
David Museum first, great value!
Joanna_N, Jul 2023
This was a great walking tour! Went to the David Museum very first (before most of the other tourists). They gave us a break in the middle and the tour guide was so kind and knowledgeable!
A sampling of Florentine Art
Grace_S, Jul 2023
Angela was a great tour guide. As we walked to each site, Angela provided historical background. Visiting David was monumental and awe inspiring. My only criticism is we should spend a little more time in the Accademia, as there is so much art to view. Otherwise, the tour itself was nice and historical and we were able to get a nice overview of Florence and it's history. Angela was the best.
Not a visit to the Duomo!
Genevieve_P, Jul 2023
The tour indicates the following sights: Duomo and David. You will only see David. This tour does not include the Duomo. You can look at it from the outside which you can do on your own. You certainly don’t have to pay to see it. “Skip-the-Line Florence Small-Group Tour with David and Duomo” is misleading. You don’t get the “skip the line” for the Duomo. The entire tour involved showing you where to shop and eat. I thought I was on a selling marketing pitch tour. We did NOT see the Duomo.

Fun in Florence with Frederica!
Gabrielle_R, Jun 2023
Our tour guide, Frederica, was excellent. She was friendly and informative. The meeting point was easy to find. This experience gives you a well rounded glimpse into Florence’s vast history. The pace of the tour was causal but with purpose. Definitely would recommend!
Awesome!
