What To Expect

Your wine escape starts with pickup in a fully-fitted bus with free Wi-Fi from the Piazzale Montelungo bus terminal next to the Santa Maria Novella Train Station in Florence. Take a seat and head to the Chianti wine region while your guide tells you about the history of the regional wine production.

Take the famous Chianti Road to two wine estates. Try 3 to 4 different types of wine at each estate, along with local olive oils, cheese, and balsamic vinegar. Walk among the vineyards and visit the cellars, where you learn about local wine-production methods.

After the winery visits, snap photos of the Tuscan countryside from a panoramic terrace on the Chianti road.

Your wine tour ends back at the Piazzale Montelungo bus terminal in Florence.

Organized, and a great guide! Comfortable bus, safe driver. Perfect amount of time for a 1/2 day. Two different experiences with each estate. Snacks were nice and both estates accommodated my gluten allergy which I appreciated very much! The first estate was fantastic , engaging the audience and very knowledgeable- Marco was incredible, charismatic and had us laughing. The 2nd estate had beautiful grounds, event space and knowledgeable friendly staff. Our negative takeaways were the following: we did not stop on our way there or way back for any type of picturesque photo opportunities. There were several rolling hills of a typical Tuscany countryside that I would’ve loved to stop and take photos- but I do understand it is not easy to pull the bus over and unload 50 people. It just shouldn’t be a part of the description if not possible. The other negative was on the way back the bus was very warm and borderline uncomfortable- fans were blowing but no AC. Another suggestion we thought was to switch the order of the estates and do the 2nd one first. Marcos personality and engagement was incredible and we left there feeling energized and excited- the 2nd estate was more subdued - still very nice- but different vibe completely.

Very fun trip and experience at beautiful wineries. The staff was fun and the winery hosts were lively and very fun. Would highly recommend. Great experience for only $50-$60.

The tour company had poor organisational skills, we arrived 20minutes early however were not checked in until 10 minutes after our departure time due to many different tours leaving at the same time. The pick up location was not well established nor was it signed which resulted in confusion & chaos for the 1 person checking in multiple different tour groups. This also resulted in a late departure for our tour as multiple people were still waiting in line to be checked in. Wine was excellent, overall experience with tour company probably wouldn’t book with them again.

The second stop on the tour was the best. Very interactive and fun. Learned some techniques. Tour guide was sweet and informative. There was some drama on the ride home with the bus driver and quests as your not allowed to use the bathroom that is located on the bus.

The energy brought by each winery was amazing! We learned more about the grapes in the region and what makes them unique and special. The presentation and snacks provided with each of the wines in Tuscany were generous and the settings were so beautiful. Highly recommended to all visiting Tuscany. The guide and driver were also excellent leaders for this trip.

Donato at the first winery was amazing. He had so much information and was funny and passionate about the winery, wine and view. He was wonderful. The second winery was also good but not as much information. Luca the driver was an amazing driver and made the drive of such a big bus through narrow roads seem so smooth. Jacob the tour guide was also very nice and friendly
