Kateryn was so accommodating and told intriguing stories of the history of Florence, how politics influenced the arts and the construction of landmarks, and some modern culture suck as the soccer festival on St. John the Baptist Day. And a surprise bit of info about wine doors! She was truly delightful!

Relaxing, informative tour in stunning central Florence

This is a great overview walking tour. You get an up-close view of all the important buildings without going inside. We did the tour in July, so the sun was still up for most of the tour. (See photos to see "golden hour" light.) It was a cooler time of day to do a walking tour, so I would recommend it for just that in the summer months. Guide pointed out details we would have missed on our own. We all wore little headsets, so could wonder off a bit from the group if we wanted to. Informative and enjoyable tour.

Wonderful walking tour of Florence. This was my 5th trip to Florence and this tour took me to places I had never been. Loved learning the history of the buildings and stories about the people who built and lived in them. Great way to orient yourself to the city and pick out the sites that you want to visit during your stay. Very friendly, knowledgeable guide.
