Based on how this tour was billed my first thought was “What's the catch?!” It turned out to be terrific. Really informative, entertaining, a good pace, and an engaging guide. I highly recommend this tour. It appeared everyone gave good tips at the end which is how the guide is compensated.

One of the very best guided tours that I have ever experienced. Riccardo was knowledgeable and humorous and seamlessly wove his tale of the Medici family and their use and abuse of art and architecture in a fascinating manner. He used appropriate contemporary references and answered questions clearly finding time for everyone. Obviously an historian but with the storyteller's gift of conveying knowledgeable in a light and memorable way.

I highly recommend this walking tour. Ricardo was amazing! Super knowledgeable and his transitions between each location was incredibly smooth. You can tell he was very passionate about the history of Florence but still so easy going. He made this tour very enjoyable for me and my husband.
