Although Helena, our guide, was so sweet, polite and willing to make us familiar with the history of the Duomo, this was impossible as her accent was a rich Italian one and her English very difficult to comprehend- hence, the only value was that we skipped the line and got inside the cathedral to see and take some pics. Sorry for saying that but it is extremely important for the guide to have efficient language skills to transfer knowledge and true guidance, otherwise it is useless. Thank you for reading

Guide was very good. However, we did not get the tickets and where therefore not able to go into all places of the Duomo. A normal entry ticket, far cheaper, gives access to all parts!

An expensive skip the line

There were no obvious instructions on the meeting point with the tickets. Other companies have done this really well. I called the international Tel number to find the meeting point and we walked around a lot to find it amongst the crowds which was frustrating. There was a lot of feedback on the headphone/machines- we could hardly hear and was much worse than other similar tours this holiday. the lovely lady taking us around had a strong Italian accent so unless looking at her in a crowded place we couldn’t understand very much. We tried hard- the info was interesting but couldn’t make out much of the words and with the kit crackling we gave up. It was worth it only to skip the huge line which is needed in August- so it’s an expensive way to do that.

2 stars for skipping the line. The tour started late, and the tour guide’s English was unintelligible. She spoke with a lisp and thick accent, and at the end my wife said she has no idea what the guide was saying. She shared pictures but no one could see the small images in limited amount of time.
