What To Expect

With this tour of Florence’s Galleria dell‘Accademia, you have the benefit of choosing between multiple start times from morning to late afternoon, making it easy to fit into your schedule.

Meet your guide in Piazza delle Belle Arti—look for a sign with the name “Florence with Elvis Guided Experience.” Pay for your priority entrance ticket with the help of your guide and bypass the long lines and the crowds struggling to enter the museum.

Put on the radio transmitters provided by your guide to better hear the tour narration, and head inside. Explore the museum and make your way to Michelangelo’s “David,” discovering the sculpture and other highlights up close.
Benefit from your guide’s insider knowledge by listening to her narration.

After about one hour in the museum, end your tour in Piazza delle Belle Arti.

Anna who was our tour guide was great as she was very knowledgeable, patient & paced the tour very well. Her presentation/explanation of the art pieces was excellent. My only issue is the cost of the admissions ticket was not included in the price of the tour. You have to pay for the admission ticket upon arrival. Also, do not bring water or anything in glass bottles as they are not permitted inside the museum. For example, I bought a couple of small items that were in a glass jar and had to pick them Up after my tour.

Yes, there was a long line (due to security bag scanner machine not working) and our tour guide used the time while waiting to explain Michaelango’s life. But once we got inside and the tour guide explained David, she left us to wonder on our own. The museum is not that big so it is fine with us. The only thing is that we paid almost a $100 NOT including 60 euro for 3 adult tickets for this simple tour.
