80 people on tour is too many
marybzorn, Apr 2024
The towns were lovely. For the most part the tour was well organized and the tour guides were very good. The tour was advertised as the CLASSIC ENGLISH TOUR WITH 60 participants. The tour was actually 80 people in a double decker bus with 65 Spanish speaking and only 15 English speaking people. I do not like to hear endless translations on a bus trip. It is annoying especially when this was advertised the CLASSIC ENGLISH SPEAKING TOUR. IF THERE ARE GOING TO BE 80 people it needs to be advertised this way. Just list the trip as it really is. I do mot like to fight 80 people trying to get on the bus at the same time.
Excellent way to see Tuscany

This was a fantastic tour! Every spot we went I wished we had more time. The wine tasting was even better than anticipated. I think the perfect tour would skip Monteriggioni (even though it we super cute and unique) and add extra time on to San Gimignano because I really wanted to explore more there!

The sights were absolutely amazing, the wine tour informative and entertaining. Lots more walking than I expected
Great value coach tour to the fortified cities of Tuscany.
Rodney_H, Apr 2024
As a fan of Ezio Auditore & Assassin's Creed, this Tuscany tour was a real highlight of our Italy trip. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the fortified cities of Monteriggioni, Sienna & San Gimignano. (Personally, I could have done without the vineyard wine-tasing.) It was such great value as we did not need a tour guide to explore the places on our own.
Bad communication and bus issue
Alex_N, Apr 2024
We informed the company via telephone we would be a little bit late, to see if they could wait for us because we were coming from another city. The attendant said she would try to reach out to the guide and see what they could do. We were late 15 minutes, despite all the efforts to make it on time. I understand it can be a problem with the schedule, but no one called us back to inform us it wouldn't be possible to wait. To make it even more frustrating, when we got to the stop where the bus departed, other companies were providing the same service, including another group that was exactly waiting for a couple who were late, trying to call them and waiting until they had some information. We met the group in Siena, as the attendant said on the phone it would be the first stop. It wasn't, it was the second stop, so we missed 1 city. Additionally, the bus broke down after the wine visit. We spent an extra 30 to 1 hour waiting for other buses to arrive, which made us lose half an hour in the last city visit, which would be short anyway. We don't have much to say about the guides though. They were nice during the whole trip. I would recommend going to this square and getting the tickets from other companies there. The place is close to the train station and it's called Piazzale Montelungo (Firenze).
Far too many people but great destinations.

Friendly, knowledgeable tour guides. First stop Monteriggioni was far too short, a toilet stop, the guide described it as. Wine tasting was fun, siena was stunning as was San Gimignano. Seats need to be allocated at booking, I did not get to sit with my husband. Far too many people on the trip, this made it difficult to take things in and look around. You had to concentrate on who we were following. Shame as it is well worth doing but just felt too rushed. Due to the number of people , information was given in 3 languages. This meant that there was talking nearly all the time, not relaxing. Again, the guides and driver were good. 😊
Not the best
Michelle_N, Apr 2024
Although Siena and San Gimignano were incredible and so beautiful I have to say I wish I would have booked a different tour. There were around 150 people with us and the tour was multi lingual English, Spanish and Portuguese. This meant that we had to listen to everything three times and I suspect that they would have had more to tell us if they only said it once. I respect the guide for being multi lingual but her English was not very good and it was very difficult to understand her. The guided tour of Siena (which was extra) was very short. Finally, the wine tasting was held in an industrial area and modern building with no local charm. It was only an attempt to sell us expensive wine. I encourage you to try elsewhere
Perfect way to enjoy the historic towns of Tuscany
Louis_E, Apr 2024
So happy we booked this tour. Every member of the staff we professional and approachable. Guides were very knowledgeable and friendly. The wine tasting staff were informative and entertaining. Maybe best of all, the driver had truly amazing driving skills. The locations were everything we imagined they would be. My wife and I felt that the 3 towns we visited were as beautiful as advertised. I would absolutely recommend this tour to everyone I know.
Nice trip!
Ed_R, Apr 2024
Well organized. Dual English/Spanish language communications tended to be somewhat tedious but other than that, Roberto and team did a nice job.
Fun day
KEVIN_E, Apr 2024
A lot to see in a day. All great places to experience.. Sienna has a lot of good places for lunch during the stay there
Charming Medieval Tuscany
Jaci_L, Apr 2024
Enjoyed the Tour. The guided tour in Siena was short but good. My only criticism is the lunch my husband and I signed up for to eat with the group - the restaurant took forever so we didn’t get any time to look around. It was fun meeting others from our bus. My favorite stop was San Gimignano. It was really nice. The countryside was pretty as well. The stop at the winery was ok. It was a short break where we tasted 4 types of wine, 2 balsamic vinegar’s and some chili olive oil. Siena had a beautiful church, worth going inside.
Getting a taste of Tuscany
Colleen_H, Apr 2024
I enjoyed the guided tour and the free time in Sienna, the quick pop in at Monteriggioni and the beautiful views of Tuscany in all the towns we visited. It was wonderful to be out in the countryside away from the urban context of Florence.
A Very nice experience!

Roberta, our guide was amazing. Very nice places visited and a well planned itinerary. Overall an excellent trip!
Great one day Tuscany Highlights Tour
Kristin_H, Apr 2024
Excellent tour but ambitious. It is a very long day but you get to see and experience the major towns in the immediate Siena region. Roberta our tour guide was great. Recommend to anyone looking for a one day highlight of Tuscany
Great, very full tour which is very good value for money.
richard_b, Apr 2024
Very good guide. Excellent itinerary. We did the same-ish excursion a few years ago and this was even better. Good to have the semi-independent option for Siena. Was dreading the wine bit but it was informative, engaging and v good value. We think this is a great tour and would recommend it unreservedly.
A great day out
John_M, Apr 2024
Loved it. Comfy bus and great guide. We had a great day out and enjoyed all the stops. The wine tasting was a highlight with a great host
Great option for a day in Tuscany
Jessie_B, Apr 2024
I spent a wonderful day on this tour. Ours was a large group, but things run well , on time. Siena, San Giminiano and Monteriggione were worth the trip, plus the countryside is beautiful! Thank you to Martina, Katu and Lucca, our driver
