What To Expect

The Uffizi Gallery is one of the most renowned art museums in the world and, as a result, long lines are common, with many visitors eager to see inside. Save yourself a few hours of wait time with this assisted service, and head straight in when you arrive.

The Uffizi comprises work from Ancient Greece to the 18th century, but its true gems hail from the Renaissance era. The 45 rooms are arranged chronologically, so you can begin exploring through the early Renaissance first, pausing to admire work from Giotto and Fra Angelico, before heading to the masterpieces of the High Renaissance. See Botticelli’s "Birth of Venus", Michelangelo’s "Doni Tondo" and da Vinci’s famed "Annunciation". Pass by Titian’s Venetian paintings and head upstairs to check out Caravaggio.

Very little value for the money

Under the impression that "Skip the Line" meant expedited entrance. All Viator did was purchase the tickets on my behalf for a premium and then I had to wait on the entrance line. It was a 45 minute wait in the rain to get through security. Your service provided very little value for the premium you charged on the tickets.

We even had someone call us to confirm our pickup time and location in advance. We met the guy out front and went straight in! Skipped the line and entered without any trouble. A must see gallery but you still have to wait in line

The actual gallery is incredible- a must see in Florence . You could spend days there and still not see everything. The art and sculptures are magnificent , not to mention the history behind it all. The only problem was we had to wait in line- skip the line didn’t happen as promised

The works of art here are numerous and impressive. We have been here many times before, anodyne this was without a guide. I was issued an entry ticket, but did not understand that there was no human guide that went along with it. I would not have taken on the effort to understand the massive details the Uffizi Gallery presents alone with just an 6 Euro additionally rented audio device. I suggest anyone interested in an Uffizi Gallery tour in Florence to take on a personal (human) guide. Having just an entry ticket, does not serve one's best interest to understand the complexity of these historical items.

Viator helps with long lines

It was a good idea to pre-book; the lines in late Sept. we’re pretty impressive and using Viator helped. There was some confusion at the Pitti Palace, but the local agents made it work. The Accademia/David bordered on a mob scene it was so busy, and having advance tix helped there too. So…make it easy on yourselves and book in advance; just expect big crowds at the main attractions wherever you go! Florence is a cool place and is always a popular destination.
