Lost our Guide and No Answers from Viator

We were disconnected from our guide- the radio headsets cut off and we searched for 45 minutes in crowded streets to no avail. The numbers provided to reach someone from Viator or the guide did not work and only served to frustrate us more. We had one day planned to see the art and architecture, and to learn and photograph this city and its amazing art. It was lost due to carelessness from Viator and their subcontractor to help us get back on track! They eventually called after 2 hours and 30 minutes after we attempted to call them 4 times; we had walked over 20k steps and were exhausted; also emotionally wrung out from being left behind and lost, we are heartbroken and frustrated we missed such a valuable opportunity.

Stephanie, our tour guide gave an excellent overview of development of paintings through renaissance period. She was extremely knowledgeable. With her beautiful description of Florence through last few centuries she made history come alive. In addition to being our guide, she was an excellent teacher. We were so pleased with our experience, we will unreservedly recommend to anyone who wants to experience Florence!

Terrific day touring two major museums! Our guide was an endless source of knowledge. You will be on your feet a lot so make sure you wear comfy shoes/sneakers!

The tour guide recommended a fabulous restaurant for lunch and it was really great! She also gave us a place for gelato and it was good as well! In addition the knowledge of our guide was great. Something to note, if you wear a hearing aid, it can be difficult to hear the tour guides. Take a double set of earphones with you

We had a wonderful time on this tour. Our guide, Valentina, spoke clearly and told us so many things we would have missed if not on this tour. Our tour was 10:00 to 3:00 and we had about an hour to grab lunch. Such a wonderful time seeing David and the Uffizi and learning the stories of the artist and the times. You definitely want to skip the lines with this tour. Would highly recommend this tour.

Very rich in culture. Would be better if we didn’t spend to much time on how buildings were built but rather cover more art and the history.

It was incredible to see the original works of Michaelangelo and DaVinci. The tour guide was able to provide insight and additional information about the art work that made the tour much more interesting. If you are visiting Florence this is a must tour.
