Cristian contacted us shortly after booking the trip and a week later picked us up at the agreed time. A shortish drive across the border and we were in the Argentinian national park. Due to recent flooding, the Devil’s Throat trail was closed but walking the other two trails was still plenty and you got up close to a lot of waterfalls. We had a quick coffee break and then off to the Brazilian side. A very different experience with a lot less walking but the views were breathtaking. Also, you can walk out onto a platform near the bottom of a waterfall and you will get wet, so be warned. Cristian was attentive throughout and explained what we were seeing, drawing our attention to the geology of the area and to the numerous birds and animals around. Would recommend!

Brazil side - you can buy tickets at the entrance with card and contactless.

We had an amazing day with Cristian. The communication ahead of the tour was perfect and filled us with complete confidence. Cristian was an excellent guide, with perfect English, was very knowledgeable and personable and was so much fun to spend the day with. His car was spotless and modern and we had a very comfortable day. He maximised our time at every location and we felt so grateful to have him guide us through the day, across Argentina and Brazil. We achieved so much but never felt rushed and Cristian looked after us really well. We had not originally booked a second day tour, but after having such a great first day, Cristian created a itinerary for us for the second day of other things we wanted to see in the area, and we leaped at the chance to spend another day with him. We cannot recommend him enough, and wish we had someone like him to guide us through all our trips. Thank you Cristian!

William was our tour guide and he was fantastic! We not only learned about the falls and the area but my mobility is a bit limited and he made sure that I was able to see and do everything both on the Argentine and Brazil sides. Each waterfall area was more stunning than the last! The jungle was impactful! William educated us about the animals that we saw along the way. Without him we would have admired them but not known what some were. He made suggestions and gave us options. William spent the entire day with us and made sure our visit to the falls was truly a day we will never forget. Do NOT hesitate to book and ask for William if he’s available on the day you’re touring!

Awesome day that is so memorable.
On time and this walking driving tour in the jungles of Iguazu National Park is amazing. Niede a lovely Portuguese guide was so much fun, a little issue with translations, but this tour is Visually and emotionally stunning. No translation or any vocabulary is really necessary. Action, motion and beauty speak for themselves. Water the life blood of our existence.
Which is better up or lower falls Brazilian or Argentine side?
What an amazing day, some crowds and politics set aside, this is a must do.
Argentine side relatively flat both lower and upper, and Quiet, Tranquil and Peaceful! Be sure to take repellent and a bottle of drinking water.
Back to the Gran Melia for a coffee and short 45 min drive into the Busy but Beautiful Brazilian side, (no review necessary here)….. but we also had time for a tour of the Belmond Cataract-as Hotel, but the lunch on the river at Porto Canoas is as good, if not really better as its food wine is unbelievable value but also an essential part of the experience. I only wish Cristian could organize for Niede to have lunch with us, rather than wait outside! We had time to do other activities but decided this experience will be spoilt and we were fortunate enough to return to Argentina early enough b4, the rush hour mayhem.
Note : Niede did take us to the chocolate and coffee house to savor some amazing coffee, chocolate and excellent gifts from the beautiful people of Brazil. Whoosh time for a dip in the eternity pool, and a Verba Mate with a dash of your choice! Day will nit be forgotten, Check Box - Big Bold Tick!

Cristian was such an excellent guide. He communicated with me as soon as I booked the tour & helped me make decisions on where to stay and what to do when we were in Iguassu. He picked us up on time on the ARG side (bags in tow) where we spent ~3hrs, after which he drove across the border (efficiently I must add because of his pass!) and then onwards to the Brazil side where we don’t the last 1/2 of the day. We wrapped up the tour right on time (4pm) as Cristian dropped us off at our hotel on the Brazil side. I would rate this day trip a 11/10 if that was an option! 🌟

First of all the argentinian park and the brazilian park are both beautiful. We saw the impressive waterfalls as well as different animals and birds and went for a relaxing walk on the various paths. What impressed us even more was the perfect organisation by our guide Cristian. We managed to avoid big crowds and felt like we had the whole waterfalls to ourselves. Our guide took care of everything and told us interesting facts about the waterfalls and the parks. It was very convenient to visit the parks with a private car. We didn't have to wait long at the border and could even stay longer in the Brazilian park while the buses with the rest of the visitors had to leave the park. This allowed us to enjoy the sunset almost alone with the beautiful toucans. What an experience! Cristian also catered to our individual wishes and so we were able to include a delicious lunch and a boat trip. By the way, the boat trip is also fun. In the end, we wanted to visit the city centre for a dinner. Cristian therefore recommended a restaurant with a tango show and took us there. If you ever have the chance to visit Iguazu, you should do it with Cristian.
