We had a great time. Juan was an amazing tour guide. We were able to feed monkeys, and see crocs and lots of other wildlife. The Panama Canal boat ride was so fun, and the rainforest hike was beautiful. Afterwards, Juan took us into the city for a wonderful lunch. 10/10 recommend.

Great, Fun Experience
Robert_M, Feb 2024
This tour was fun! We took a boat ride to see three different kinds of monkeys, lizards, and turtles. We were able to interact with the monkeys by feeding them. We were unable to do the nature walk due to a scheduling oversite on our part. The thing that set this tour a part for us was our tour guide, Juan, aka "Johnny". He was very knowledgeable and made sure we were comfortable throughout the tour. He provided us with some unique experiences that allowed for us to connect more with the environment (he refers to them as surprises") which was fun and enjoyable. He was hospitable, a great communicator, and accomodating of our schedule. I highly recommend Johnny as a tour guide, he cares about your experience and will ensure you have the best one possible.
The best tour in Panama City, so worth it!

We absolutely loved the tour. The guide is so knowledgeable and really took time to tell us about all interesting thing about Panama City and Panama. He was punctual and the car was very comfortable, private boat ride was so fun. We saw 4 different kinds of monkeys, crocodiles, sloth... in wild nature. It was the perfect mix of hiking in the jungle, boat ride and walk around the Panama City islands. Plus he took us to local eatery at the end and the food was cheap and so good! Pick this tour, you will get a mix of cool experiences. Very worthy. The guide also sent us some pictures at the end which we didn't even expect.
Must do with Nicolas!

Nicolás was a great tour guide, we enjoyed the canal boat ride and the hike. He was also flexible with lunch and drop off location at the end of the tour. We saw lots of monkeys and other wildlife.
100% suggested for wildlife

The trip was amazing! Juan arranged everything for us even changing the plan according to our schedule and bring us to see so many animals (monkeys, tucano, sloth). We will suggest it 100%.
Fun outdoor adventure.

Juan was a great host. He has a background in ecological tourism, so he was able to explain a lot about the wildlife and plants we saw on the tour.
monkey tour, saw animals, nice guide, fun for family and kids

Guide was friendly, knowledgeable, nice clean transport, very nice driver, saw many monkeys; didn't like that monkeys needed to be fed to be seen not sure this is healthy for them? still recommend the tour either way but have some concerns about the feeding.
Wonderful Tour

The tour was an awesome experience! Our tour guide Nicolas was extremely knowledgeable about the different animals in the forest. We got to see and feed the monkeys up close and personal. Having a guide like Nicolas who knows what to look for made the tour exciting and memorable.

It was a bit rainy when...
John_R, May 2022
It was a bit rainy when we arrived in Gamboa to start our trip, but the sun came out not long after. We got to see a tamarin up close and personal when he came on our ship, but the capuchin were in a shy mood that day. We did get to see some baby crocodiles, but mom was not close by. we went on the nature walk but there wasnt a whole lot out to see that day. I realize that nature has a mind of its own, and the tour operator doesnt control the animals, but I think the walk may have been a bit long. Interestingly, when we got back to the parking lot, there was a sloth in the tree right by the cars. The restaurant were we ate lunch had really good food, Panamanian style. Overall, an enjoyable day. but getting to see wildlife is always hit or miss and the animals were just a little more shy that day
Excellent guide and fun tour!

Very fun day with a great guide! Mr. Nicolas was very knowledgeable about everything related to Panama, nature, history, culture and spotting wild animals. Right before he dropped us off at our hotel we went to lunch (you pay for your own meal)at a really good restaurant. In the parking lot at the restaurant he spotted a sloth in a tree for us to get a glance at. Your day starts with a hotel pickup around 7. Then you drive to the dock you will board the tour boat on. It was about a 20+ minute ride from my hotel. Then you ride the boat near big ships in the Panama canal and keep going until you get to the jungle. We saw three species of monkeys. Two we got to feed and one (howler monkeys) was very high up but we could hear and see them. We kept riding and got to see some baby crocodiles near their nest. Heads up that if you come during the rainy season (started May 1st), you should bring a rain suit or poncho and a water proof pouch. We got soaked and it felt like we were in a water park 🤣. After you finish your boat ride you go back to the car and ride around 10 minutes to the Gamboa jungle and go for a hike. Very beautiful and lush with plant life. We saw lots of fruit trees (cacao, coconut, red plum-like fruits from palms, figs, etc), small water falls, creeks, huge trees with beautiful bases. We spotted poison dart frogs, lizards, birds and leaf cutter ants. The tour is well worth the money and it's an unforgettable experience! Thanks Mr. Nicolas for being the best tour guide we've ever had!
Best Panama animal tour and guide out there!

Amazing tour with an excellent and very friendly guide who also gave me a lot of hints regarding every possible activity in Panama (incl. Bocas). We saw 3 different kind of apes very closely and also a Tucan. Excellent tour.
