This has been an unbelievably enjoyable experience! I was torn between the quads and a jeep but I realized that in the jeep I can focus on observing the island, taking pictures while the tour guide is giving us details. I recommend anyone to give it a try. The tour guides were awesome and funny, we also went off-road a bit and the speedboat on our way back to Malta was so fun! The whole team treated us nicely and I truly recommend it (pickup from and to the hotel was included).

Perfect for short visit

Pick up was on time but once we reached the harbour we had to wait 20mins for more people to arrive. We were all on a large boat, not a speedboat. On the way to Gozo we passed by Comino and saw the stunning cave formations and blue lagoon. When we arrived on Gozo we were split into groups. They hadn't allocated me into a group so there was a bit of a commotion. I ended up with a group from Poland (I'm British) and our tour guide was Tomas. Despite my initial disappointment I ended up having a wonderful day. Tomas was welcoming, funny, professional and despite only living in Malta with his family for a short time, provided a lot of information and was able to answer questions. I also liked that he stopped to pick and show us local/wild vegetation such as fennel and rocket. Lunch was basic but substantial enough to get you through the rest of the day. Local white wine was placed on the table but you could ask for red... and you could also ask for a refill. We had time to swim in one of the bays, I dipped my feet but wasn't brave enough to fully get into the cold water, despite it looking inviting. All in all, it was a gorgeous day. Perfect for a short visit not only to see the main sites but the off-the-beaten track ones too.

Gozo is worth the trip.

The jeep tour and our guide Nick! Fabulous The boat trip and van ride from Valletta were NOT good. 1.5 hours in a van picking up others and then a quick boat ride to Gozo. Should do the fast ferry from Valletta to Gozo. The van ride from Valletta was a terrible way to begin.

Must do trip - Just book it.

What a wonderful & enjoyable day to Gozo.Our jeep Safari guide Patrycja was lovely with her knowledge & very polite with her humour.It made our day😀.Must do trip & well worth the money - It’s the only way to the whole island of Gozo.

The worst tours we have ever had.

This tour was a shambles. Pickup was fine but we later found out that they drove right past our hotel (The Grand Excelsior) and we could have been picked up from there. We waited a long time for the boat before it finally took us over to Gozo. When we arrived there was a lot of confusion with the jeeps and when we set off our driver just wanted to rush everything and cut out some itinerary if we wanted to see the archeological park. He just wanted to rush everything so he could be on time for lunch. We suggested a shorter lunch so we could see more things but he wouldn’t do that. Lunch was poor and tasteless. After lunch we suddenly seemed to have a lot more time to see things. The driver seemed to be under a lot of pressure from his boss to be on time regardless of what we wanted to see. We felt the vehicle was dangerous as there were no seatbelts in the back, the roads were extremely rough, the driver drove far too fast and we felt in constant danger of being thrown out of the jeep and nauseous from the exhaust fumes. The only really good part of the trip was the boat trip back via the cliffs and grotto. We would never recommend this trip to anyone as it was poor value and very dangerous. We believe we should be refunded the cost of this tour as we essentially received nothing for our money but a very scary and unenjoyable day.

We had a great time on the tour, very organised and well communicated. Mario was our guide and was very knowledgeable and also very accommodating with regards to our time on the island. Would definitely recommend.

Hotel pickup in Sliema, drive up to the ferry terminal and then a speedboat across to Gozo to meet our Jeeps (groups split by language). Lovely sights to see all day. Great guide but also do your own reading up on sights as commentary is a bit then. Mediocre lunch, gorgeous views and churches, and insta-worthy boat tour around Comino.

Whizzed around the island of Gozo our fun driver Michelle. Quick stops on many points of interest. Good lunch. No shopping stops. Nicely executed Jeep Safari by Barbossa. Downtown pickup in Valetta was on time but it did take an hour to get to the north part of the island to pick up the ferry over to Gozo.

Very nice way to see a lot of Gozo in just one day. There are a lot of beautiful places that wouldn't be easy to reach with public transport. It was well organised and really fun, thank you!

Friendliness. Our driver was very helpful. Looked after well from start to the end. Jeep tour good as it takes you through the countryside and narrow streets of Gozo. The boat trip included was great especially Danny who showed Caves and Blue Lagoon on return.

This was a great way to see Gozo. Our guide Johnny was great. I would definitely recommend bringing snacks and water, as in the morning we didn’t stop anywhere where these were available for purchase. For me the salt pans were a highlight.

A FULL DAY TOUR... I feel like I saw all of Gozo. My tour guide was super cool and extremely knowledgeable and made it seem more private. Great value, I'm glad I went! Bring some small snacks and a drink just in case you need it, although they do provide lunch.

Gozo Jeep Tour - Great Experience

Amour was an excellent tour guide! The mini Jeep seemed to be the best way to get to all the spots fast but still enabled us to have a great view getting to each one. We visited ALOT of spots: Paradise beach, calypso cave, the citadel, the inland sea, marsalforn bay, xwenjini salt pans, sanap cliffs and the ta pinu national shrine. The information given was helpful and interesting - the buffet lunch at a local restaurant was also included and was very scrumptious 😋. Overall great tour!

The All Day Gozo trip is a must when in Malta. The day went seemlessly from pickup to drop off. Unfortunately the weather conditions were windy so we could not use the company speedboat (they provided us with ferry tickets) for the trip to Gozo from the mainland but that’s nothing to do with the trip. We got to see all of the desired sights in Gozo and always felt we had enough time in each. Our guide Johnny was amazing. A local from Gozo he knew exactly what we wanted to see and he did not disappoint. If you book the trip I would ask specifically to be in his jeep! The ride can be bumpy but hey it’s an adventure. Too many highlights to report, just to say it’s a great value for money trip.

We had a very enjoyable day, hotel transfers ferry transfers all went to plan, our tour guide Peter was very informative & helpful. We got to see all of beautiful Gozo & had 2 swims in the warmest water I have ever been in.. Lunch was pretty good & by the time we got back to our hotel we were tired but throughly content with our day trip.

An amazing day with the jeep tour. Our guide George was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We learnt so much and the pace was perfect. Got to stop for a dip, great lunch and he even stopped at a local sea salt farm so we could buy some. Great day!!
