      Marianna, our guide did an excellent job! Her English was good and she was quite familiar with the history and culture. She is very friendly and welcoming. We appreated her recommendations of other sites, restaurants, and bars that we are still exploring. Definatrly book this toir to open your eyes of what the city offers. J&C

      We got lucky that we ended up being the only ones on our tour so it was a fun private tour with Mariana. We learned so much about the history of Guanajuato and why the city is laid out the way it is. Mariana was energetic, funny and knowledgeable. We were there during the extremely busy Santa Semana and it was very crowded so Mariana did an excellent job of bypassing the crowds, yet getting us to where we needed to go. We also got great recommendations of bars & restaurants and tried one of her recommendations after the tour and it was amazing. Not touristy, amazing food and great service. We tend to do walking tours of cities often when we travel and this one was definitely one of the best we've done.

      Our guide tailored our tour to our request for an historical understanding of Guanajuato and delivered wonderfully! We learned about the origins of the city and it’s connection through silver to the rest of Mexico. We also learned about the complex political structure of early Mexico and how that relates to modern times. Our guide Maria has passion and love of the history of her country and we truly received the benefit. This tour is a must to understand Guanajuato.

      Marianna was fantastic. Great guide. We loved all the history. Favorite part was learning about all the subterranean roads and the history behind all the rebuilds. Always love how a city tour helps you really feel like part of a place.

      Marianna Castillo leads a passionate and historical introduction to Guanajuato. Do this tour early in your visit to this beautiful city so that your eyes will be more open to its beautiful details after the tour. She is knowledgeable, friendly, speaks Spanish and English and clearly loves this city and you will too after the tour. Added bonuses were food and coffee recommendations, and her willingness to help in answering any questions, even other tour suggestions. I can’t think of a better ambassador to the city.

Mariana is a wealth of knowledge and beautifully explains the history of the city and surrounding areas, along with giving multiple recommendations. She has so much passion for what she does, that you just want the tour to go on and on. What an incredible experience in one of Mexico’s finest gems. I’m recommending this tour to everyone.       Mariana is *AMAZING*! She has so much knowledge and passion for Guanajuato and Mexico you leave the tour feeling a real connection to the city and its wonderful people.       Mariana's tour was full of energy, history and humor. I had taken her tour before and wanted a friend to experience Guanajuato like I did. It was fine to do the tour with Mariana again because I learned information that I hadn't absorbed the first time, mainly because she has so much knowledge to share. My friend and the other two people who shared our tour loved the enthusiasm that Mariana brought the table. We would highly recommend her to anyone who wants to learn about Guanajuato's history.
