A great tour with educational guide!

A really good tour! My favorite part actually ended up being the library which I hadnt known we were doing. I would have preferred to stop at the rock church versus the Olympic stadium but understand it may not have been on the way. Our guide was wonderful and I appreciate all of the history she shared with us. Would definitely recommend this tour!

Great experience with Sanna. She answered all my questions, had lots of history was a typical finish character. Great way to see the highlights of Helsinki and discover beautiful Suomenlinna. Good communication from tour operator. Highly recommended!

Ann was absolutely amazing! She had so much local history knowledge and her English was perfect. We had some challenging people in the group but she managed it very well and was professional entire time. We appreciate her effort to make everyone having a great time. Cesar was an excellent guide. Really well informed, helpful and with excellent English. There was a lot of walking, but this was fine. I felt that the trip was perhaps over-priced considering that so little time was spent in the minibus / 'inside' sights. However, that is possibly because Finland is expensive.

Harry was a fabulous guide. Very knowledgeble and kind. On this rainy day he stopped to get raincoats and umbrellas for our protection. We had the most memorable day in Helsinki.

The city tour helps you get oriented. The guide Anna was very friendly and animated. We would have like to return to Suomenlinna to walk and have a coffee at one of the many places but were short on time.

Hari was a super knowledgeable, friendly, pleasant and smart guide! My 12 year old son and I had the greatest time hearing about the history of Helsinki - and also insightful stories about the places we were visiting and what the culture of Helsinki is like today. The most fun part for my son was the visit to the island - I felt like we could have spent the entire day just there on the island taking in the sights, history and beautiful views (and coffee!) - it would be a lovely place for a swim and picnic. Hari took excellent care of us and helped us feel like we were Helsinki locals - for a day!

Harry was a good guide. He showed us the top sights in Helsinki. The tour was slightly rushed due to many stops.. We enjoyed going in the Russian cathedral, which is beautiful inside. Had a short lunch break before taking ferry over to Suomenlinna, which we enjoyed very much. It was hard for us to hear Harry speak all the time because he tended to walk fast and we are slower. Harry got us a taxi back to our hotel, and paid the fare. That was exceptional service and much appreciated. We recommend this trip, especially for younger people.

Not worth it

I had one day in Helsinki and chose this tour. It was not worth it. The ferry to Suomenlinna is €3.10 per person/trip. The AC van in the description was only with us for like 30 minutes, the rest was walking, definitely not for the elderly. Our tour guide, Harry, seemed to make up destinations on the tour as we went along. He took us to a library, showed us newspapers, it was a little bizarre. And you need at least the length of this tour to really see/understand Suomenlinna alone. So it seemed like the first half of the tour was drug out and the second half was rushed. Also, cannon is not pronounced "canyon" and you only inaugurate presidents, not Olympic stadiums. For the €145 Euros, you're better off exploring Suomenlinna by yourself and choosing one of those hop-on, hop-off bus tours.

Superb the sights, sounds and sunshine of Helsinki and Soumenlinna together with all local details, gossip, news and what’s happening in the city got more out of this tour than expected. A big shout out to Harry out tour guide who made it the most engaging tour I have had in a long time. I recommend this experience when you are in Helsinki!

Harry, our guide, was great. He was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He kept us entertained and obviously loves Finland and Helsinki. Suomenlinna was interesting but a lot of walking.
