Tinh was an excellent guide,enthusiastic and knowledgeable. His explanations were rich, informative and interesting. He covered many topics and we felt very satisfied with this tour. Tinh kept our interest throughout the whole day. He was very careful with people getting on and off the boats.That was truly appreciated. The driver was also punctual and considerate. A tour of two halves

The cu chi tunnels are well worth visiting, even if you don’t crawl through the tunnels. The ingenuity of the Vietnamese is impressive. Lockie our tour guide is entertaining….. He sang 6 or 7 songs during our 6 hours in a van. Make of that what you will! We found it fun. He also has an interesting personal story. However, the Mekong Delta trip is a waste of time and money. The boat ride in a sampan is maybe 10 minutes with nothing to see and all you hear is “tip, tip”. You are shipped between various stopping points that are just opportunities to be fleeced with very little to see or learn. The “local singing” included “If you’re happy and you know it” (sung by miserable looking people), and “Auld Lang Syne” in Vietnamese. So, Cu Chi and guide Lockie, 5 stars. Mekong zero stars.

Great tour and Lockey was an excellent, informative, entertaining guide. But it’s a lot of driving and a long day. Picked up at 7:30 a.m. and back at the hotel at 6:30p.m.

The trip in it self was okay, but I and the others I spoke with on the tour, felt like our guide rushed through it. We arrived at the tunnels and could see loads of other guides from the same company explaining about the tunnels showing on maps and giving people time to take pictures. Out guide was constantly at least 10 steps ahead of the group. The description of the trip made me think we would see floating markets, and spend more time sailing the delta, but instead we had a trip in a big boat sailing us to a bee farm. A trip in golf carts that drove so fast it was hard to actually see the island and a short trip in a rowboat where the lady was very insistent for us to tip her.. The coconut when we got back to the bigger boat were a nice touch..

Toan was our guide and he was very good. He was very knowledgeable about the Cu Chi tunnels and the history of the war in Viet Nam. The Mekong Delta part of the tour was a bit touristy, with people trying to sell us candy and bee pollen products. There was a brief concert by singers who seemed bored. The actual boat trip on the river took only a few minutes. I’m not sure it was worth it. But the Cu Chi tunnel part of the tour was very interesting.

Great trip. Lots of potential to learn a lot about the Vietnam’s History. I really enjoyed the tour but I was a bit disappointed as the English of our lovely Guide was not the best so he didn’t gave us much of history contents.

The trip, organization, everything around it, as well as our guide Lockie were great. The only drawback is that you do everything in a hurry with no free time for example in Co Chi tunels to wonder around.

This was an amazing full day tour that was both informative and fun! Thanh was one of the best guides we've ever had on a tour like this and we learned so much while having a great time! Highlights for us were going through the tunnel, the river cruise and the coconut candy! We highly recommend taking this tour especially to Americans as it was both entertaining while also being respectful of both US and Vietnamese history (kudos to Thanh!)
