Traveler Tips

To save money bring your own water and snacks, and skip on the fun shooting, it's a huge rip off.
Should anyone be clostraphobic don't do trip due to the fact that you have to crawl through small spaces for at least 20 metres.
Expect about 3-4 hours in a bus round trip, with about 2 hours at the tunnels themselves.

Amazing

The tour was amazing! I can’t remember the name of our tour leader unfortunately. But she was so knowledgable, she knew everything about the war. At the end she got very emotional showing us photos, you can tell that she had a real connection to what happened. She was brilliant in every way!
Must do Family Tour in Saigon!

We took the afternoon trip to Cu Chi Tunnels with our guide Kong, really enjoyed the experience and learning about the history of the tunnels and Kong kept us entertained and engaged throughout the course of the day!
Amazing tour in the afternoon
Vijender_S, Mar 2024
The tour was excellent and so was the host. Carefully planned and very knowledgable guide. Gave all the details and answered all queries.
Excellent tour
Sandra_H, Mar 2024
Tunnels were very interesting and the guide very knowledgable. It was good to be in a small group (6 of us).
Ok, need more history
Yasmin_A, Mar 2024
Very long journey for 2 hours in the tunnels. There was a stop on the way for things being made by victims of war, these are sold all around the area and are cheaper in the markets. I was expecting to learn a lot more history about the Vietnam war, we were just told what we were looking at on the route around the tunnels. Would recommend going to the museum first to make the most of it.
Visited the tunnels with...

Visited the tunnels with adventure tours There are far too many people visiting the site than it can manage properly, everything is rushed, overlapped by other companies doing the same, all in the heat. Shame because we were really looking forward to some history analysis What I will say is that our tour guide Sunni was absolutely brilliant, had a cheerful, warm disposition, very knowledgeable about tunnels and Vietnam history in general..she kept us very entertained so top marks.
A must do tour while in Saigon!

Excellent tour! I would highly recommend this tour while in Ho Chi Minh. You get to experience quite a few tunnels while on the tour, learn history about the war, see old military vehicles and weapons. The tour guide was great, her English and knowledge was fantastic, sorry I can't remember her name but she had a great sense of humour. Again I would highly recommend this tour while visiting this fantastic city.
Well organised.

Amazing guide
Shantanu_L, Mar 2024
Guide was the major attraction in our trip. He connected with us on a different level. The gun range at cu chi tunnel is a bit costly but fun
Very interesting tour

Our guide Vinny was very informative , friendly and kind . The tunnels are very interesting . There was a lunch stop at the end .
Guide had a poor english
Lucie_M, Mar 2024
The tour happened, the bus was in time to pick us up and the tour guide provided us with some info. For that I give 2 stars. The main downside was that our guide's english was very poor - not only his vocabulary, but also his pronunciation. Most of the tourists had troubles understanding him and it was impossible to ask him a question because he didn't understand what we were asking about. Please, for such a big group, provide a guide with a proper understandable english and some actual organising skills.
Response from Host, Mar 2024
Dear Lucie! Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your recent tour experience. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by the language barrier and communication challenges you encountered with our tour guide. We understand the importance of clear and effective communication, especially in a diverse and large group setting. Please know that we take your comments seriously and will be addressing this matter with our team to ensure that future tours are led by guides proficient in both English language skills and organizational abilities. Your feedback is invaluable to us as we strive to continuously improve the quality of our services. We appreciate your understanding and hope to have the opportunity to better serve you in the future. Sincerely, Oscar!
Shooting range and tunnel
Annie_P, Mar 2024
I'm American and it was interesting, albeit sad, learning about the war from the Vietnam side. Also, if you're claustrophobic or don't want a mini work out don't go through the longer ~50-100 meter tunnel (short ones are fine). It's worth it but not for everyone.
Great tour
Kyle_M, Mar 2024
My girlfriend and I attended this tour, last week and we're still talking about. Our tour guide Vinh was really informative and helpful, he had a great sense of humour, and gave us tips around the city and places to visit. The tour itself was very engaging and interactive.
Glimpse into life during the war

Enjoyable tour with Harry
David_S, Mar 2024
Good tour with Harry. He kept us entertained on the journey to the tunnels and was very informative on the way round, explaining a lot about the history of the tunnels and the conflict. It was a long day but this tour was a very worthwhile way of visiting the site.
Excellent tour
Julie_H, Mar 2024
Excellent tour, informative, the guide and driver were polite, a lot of information. Being a small tour was the best way to go. Would recommend it
Amazing experience
Ins_C, Mar 2024
We really enjoyed the tour! Super well organised and the tour guide was amazing! Highly recommend it, especially if you make it with the Big Dave :)))
Too rushed.
neetanath, Mar 2024
The whole thing felt very rush. At each stop where the guide talked it felt rushed because another group was waiting and the guide talked even faster. We even skipped tasting the tapioca maybe because it was getting late...even though it was included in the tour and was mentioned by the guide. Personally I would have loved more history. As we walked past some other groups (it was very crowded on the day we went), I overheard some of the guides sharing some personal stories, and more facts. It's a shame. Our guide was young and did great to his ability. I just wish it did not feel rushed. Also the shooting range was right next to the cafeteria, bring your ear plugs. Pit stop on the way there was at a local art shop and on the way back we stopped for lunch. Maybe the VIP option would have been a better choice for my expectations.
Tunnels are a must see
Claire_F, Mar 2024
Our guide Van was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. She gave us a great insight into the tunnels and their importance during the war and the struggles of the Vietnamese people who lived and fought in them. Truly moving and inspiring
