This is the only Island Tour that allows enough time at the Dole Plantation to ride the train or do the maze. What To Expect

Your day on Oahu begins with pickup at the meeting point and transport to Diamond Head Lookout to take in the sunrise. Next, pass by the Gold Coast in Kahala and Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve during the scenic drive to Eternity Beach and the Halona Blowhole, where you’ll take short photo breaks.

Enjoy views of the Makapu'u coastline as you continue on to Byodo-In Temple, where you’ll stop to visit before moving on to Sandy Beach for some time to sunbathe and swim. End your morning with views of Mokoli’i Island, free time to explore the towns along Oahu’s North Shore, and stops for snacks at Tropical Farms (The Macadamia Nut Farm Outlet) and Kahuku Farms.

After a buffet lunch (own expense) in Haleiwa, your afternoon highlight is snorkeling with sea turtles at Haleiwa Alii Beach Park and a tour of the historic Dole Plantation. The day wraps up with a stop at Green World Coffee Farms before drop-off back at the meeting point.

The tour guide and driver were amazing …Aka and uncle Sandy! They were friendly. Aka shared good stories with us and the history at every stop. We felt like family. He was funny and sang a few songs, it was beautiful. I definetly recommend this tour to get to know the island and then you’ll know places to go later on your own.

Definitely Better Tours Out There

The tour started out poorly. The bus was not stocked with snacks and drinks as advertised. The only choice for snacks were spicy chips, and there was not enough beverages for everyone to have at least one. Next, the driver was unaware that several of the roads were closed due to a marathon. As a result, we did not get to see the first couple of scheduled stops. The driver’s choice of where to stop for lunch was horrible! Many of the passengers didn’t have a chance to eat because most of the food trucks were closed. Lastly, we didn’t get to swim with the turtles. Instead of going to the tour’s normal location, the driver stopped at another hotel’s beach, where the passengers of the tour were treated like 2nd class citizens. The snorkeling equipment was dirty, broken, and overall nasty. The choice of farmer’s fruit market was unsettling and unsanitary. The only reason I gave this tour 2 stars was because the Macadamia Nut Farm and Dole’s Plantation were awesome! Otherwise, I would recommend staying away from this particular tour.

I loved Kapen, the tour guide. He was so resourceful and respectful. He was wonderful with the youn children to the seniors. The tour did get long after Turtle Beach and could have ended as I was not impressed with a stop to a fruit stand to go to Dole Farm for basically fruit. Dole Plantation was a bust but everything else was amazing! I loved the tour and would go again, even going to DP. Great job, Kapen.

This was a fun tour. Included many points of interest. Kap, our tour guide was very knowledgeable as well as entertaining throughout our entire trip. Only drawback, was the snorkling was a bust.

Byodo temple, turtle snorkeling and Dole plantation were great. Kap was awesome. However, Overall time was over 11 hours - too long. Tour would be better with less stops and more time at the key ones listed

We had Kap as a guide and he was great!! My only complaint was the windows are kinda hard to see out of not sure if they just need cleaned or if it’s the tint on them. We had a group that was loud so it was kinda hard to hear him when he was talking which was annoying, but definitely not his fault!! Great tour, hit all the spots around the island! Definitely recommend doing it was a great experience!!!

Great Guide and Stops, But Poor Experience Overall

While the tour guide was knowledgeable and engaging, and the stops themselves were enjoyable, my husband and I were left disappointed due to several issues. First, we were asked to arrive at 7:00 am, but the bus didn’t show up until 7:30 am, with no communication or updates from the company. It was frustrating to be left waiting without any notice. Once on the bus, we were seated in a spot where the window was tinted and blurry, making it difficult to see the scenery or follow along with what the guide was pointing out. This took away from the overall experience, as we couldn’t fully appreciate the sights. To make matters worse, there was a visibly sick child on the bus. By the end of the tour, my husband had caught the illness, which put a damper on the rest of our trip. While the tour guide and the destinations were great, the logistical and environmental issues significantly impacted our experience.

The driver was ok, sometimes he was hard to hear. The part that was disappointing was not being able to snorkel. The water was not clear and you couldn’t see. That was the main reason we took this tour. We would have rather gone to a place that we could actually snorkel. I would make sure to read the description and ask questions to make sure you are booking what you want. I wouldn’t fit this specific adventure again. Especially since we did a fair amount of driving and walking the shores of a few different beaches.

The tour was good except for an unexpected road closure which caused us to have to backtrack. We were expecting the van to have cleaner windows for a sightseeing tour. The window tinting on three of the large windows was seemingly damaged from the Sun and wavy causing Distortion in our viewing on top of the dirty windows. The trip was enjoyable the stops were reasonable time limits and we could not ask for a more beautiful day.

Great but consider your own snorkeling gear

Full day but worth it! We would have never been able to do this on our own. Weather caused some hiccups with snorkeling but only goggles and snorkel are provided. Flippers or life jackets would be helpful, especially if you are not a strong swimmer. Again it could be weather related that it was a difficult swim but keep that in mind and bring your own equipment.
