OUR TOURS DO NOT ALLOW GUESTS TO MEET DIRECTLY AT PEARL HARBOR. GUESTS MUST MEET AT ONE OF THE PICK UP LOCATIONS OFFERED; YOU MAY NOT DRIVE OUT TO PEARL HARBOR ON YOUR OWN. We pick up from centralized locations in Waikiki. If unsure, or if your hotel is not listed, we recommend reconfirming your tour pick-up time and location with tour operator. Stated pickup time is when pickup begins. Please contact tour operator for exact time.
What To Expect
After morning pickup at your Waikiki hotel, start your Oahu tour at Pearl Harbor.
Your guide provides commentary on the history of the site, and time to peruse exhibits at the WWII Valor in the Pacific National Monument. Next, take the boat shuttle to the USS Arizona Memorial, where you can look down into the water to see the ruins of the sunken battleship that sparked the United States entrance into World War II. Then go to the nearby USS Missouri to view a signed copy of the surrender document that ended the war, and learn about 'Mighty Mo’s' wartime history. Wrap up your time at Pearl Harbor by walking around the USS Oklahoma Memorial.
Next up, your guide takes you on a sightseeing tour of downtown Honolulu. Pass historic buildings that are important to the Hawaiian monarchy and other points of its history.
Your tour ends with drop-off at your hotel.

If you want to visit Pearl Harbor, and you want to save money, then you need to have your act together. Tickets to the USS Arizona and battleship Missouri sell out faster than hot truck on a college campus at 1am. I had never been to Oahu before and learned this the hard way. You can google yourself to death with so many options of different tours from 4 to 12+ hours in length. It is overwhelming. If you are super organized and confident, then you can definitely do this excursion on the less expensive side by buying tickets from their website. I was not so lucky, so I got this tour, but in the end I am glad I got the tour as our guide, RJ, was amazing, and he gave us a city tour and once we got to Pearl Harbor gave us super clear instructions on where to got and what to do and where to be and when. He seemed to know everyone in sight (popular guy!) He was funny and helpful. Looking back, I could have saved money if I had acted earlier and skipped the tour, but to me, the bonus was someone shepherding me and my son through this maze of Pearl Harbor so that we did not have to stress and could enjoy our day.

The bus driver gave a lot of extra history about the island without sugar coating the facts like many text books. It was very informative while remaining tasteful and interesting. Pearl Harbor is a must see. We did the Arizona and Missouri and found both to be great experiences.

We always wanted to visit Pearl Harbor. We loved our visit and Viator was great! Our bus driver, Kama, was fantastic, even though the bus ride was a bit windy in the afternoon. Thanks for a great experience!
