What To Expect

Following pickup at your Waikiki hotel, board your minibus and meet your small tour group of 20 people or fewer and your local guide.

Travel first to Diamond Head, stopping for a photo-op at the spectacular lookout before heading to check out Halona Blowhole, where the ocean waves crash into a lava tube and spray water 50 feet (15 meters) in the air.

Back aboard the minibus, head for Makapu’u Beach, passing beautiful Sandy Beach along the way. See Manana Island (Rabbit Island) and views of Makapu'u Point Lighthouse, then head for a secret spot at Waimanalo Beach Park.

As you drive along the North Shore, see the famous surf beaches like Sunset Beach, Waimea Bay, and Pipeline on the way to Tsue Farm, where you have the chance to purchase a traditional Hawaiian plate lunch. Options include veggie stir fry, teriyaki chicken, shrimp or pork. Cap off your traditional Hawaiian lunch experience with one of Tsue's famous shave ices (own expense). Rent a kayak or paddleboard to explore the Anahulu River during your stop here.

Stop at family-owned macadamia farm, where you get a chance to crack raw macadamia nuts, taste macadamia nut coffee and taste samples of one of Hawaii's most famous products. Leaving the farm, stop at Kualoa Point for photo ops of Mokoli'i, a basalt island in Kane'ohe Bay. Then, head further up the coast to Laie Point, where you get fantastic views of the Ko'olau Mountains in the distance.

Travel to a site known as 'Turtle Town' for its proliferation of green sea turtles. Embark on a guided snorkeling trip to see this secluded feeding ground and its majestic residents up close. Take a quick shower at the beach park's facilities and change into dry clothes before heading to your last stop, the Dole Pineapple Plantation. Here, see where the bulk of Hawaii's famous pineapples are grown and enjoy a refreshing frozen pineapple treat before heading back to your Waikiki hotel for drop-off.

As our company name states, we provide a scenic tour around our beautiful island. We make it a priority to visit the beaches most frequented by our Hawaiian green sea turtles, however on occasion due to weather or sea conditions are guests may not experience them on the beaches or while snorkeling. They are beautiful and awesome creatures of nature and sometimes unpredictable, therefore we can not guarantee turtle sightings.

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Great day out!

This was just about what I expected after researching different tour companies and I had a great day out as a solo traveler. After a small delay with getting our driver sorted, Justin our guide had us on our way. He was very informative, with some good humor thrown in, and he gave us just the right amount of time at each stop. Swimming with the turtles on the North Shore was the highlight, and even though the water was murky for snorkeling (masks available upon arriving, included), the turtles were all RIGHT THERE on the shoreline and in the water with us. So cool! My only advice is for parents with small kids (like <5 years old). There is a lot of bus time on these types of tours so please keep them QUIET and entertained or else it ruins the experience for others. I wish parents would be more respectful of this because obviously these tours aren't for everyone!

Never explored North Shore? Then it’s a must do!

I highly recommend this one-day tour of Oahu's North Shore, perfect for first-timers. The tour was well-scheduled, allowing us to see turtles up close (lucky whales too!) Despite the chilly ocean in March, it's manageable once you dive in. Don't miss the spicy garlic shrimp—it's deliciously fiery and a real treat. A must-do for an unforgettable Hawaiian experience!

Justin, our guide, narrated the entire tour with a history of the island, took us to some amazing lookouts for photos, made sure to help us find turtles in water (and there were a lot of them), and kept us entertained throughout the day. Our tour guide was the best!!! He was a local surfer and shared so much info! All the places we visited were amazing and we rented a car and went back to visit some places the next day! Great tour. Very informative. Justin was a great guide and always made sure everyone was safe, having a good time, and respectful of nature. He was very professional and had good energy. He’s a lifelong local and knows the best places to dine, so be sure to ask. Best part of the tour was getting to be with the beautiful turtles and the coffee stop. This tour is a great option if you don’t have a car and a lot of time and want to see a lot in a day.

DO. NOT. MISS. THIS. TOUR!!! We scheduled this tour with Benjy (the owner) as a last minute "add on" when our cruise was delayed by one day due to waves. Benjy went WAY above and beyond and picked us up in his personal car at the pier and drove us to the first stop where we joined the tour!! Who does something like that in this day and age?!?! Justin, the tour leader, was phenomenal!!! Personality plus and so likeable and knowledgeable! By far, this was the BEST tour we took the entire vacation! RUN, don't WALK to this adventure!!! We are still talking about it!!

This is a great first day in Hawaii tour. Really great that you travel around so much that it makes it easy to orientate yourself the rest of the trip, while your tour guide gives you ideas for what to do the rest of the trip. We had Nevin as our guide, he was great and very knowledgeable. I would recommend wearing sandals as there are a few beach walks, hiking shoes not needed at all. Make sure to bring snacks (there is a lunch stop) but you’ll definitely get hungry again after snorkeling. It lightly rained on and off our entire time, but it didn’t take away from the tour at all. Just be prepared to not see any turtles as this happened with our group.
