The visit to the Arizona, was a very moving experience, as was the actual footage of the pearl harbour attack. My husband did the self guided tour of the submarine, which he really enjoyed.

The Arizona Memorial tour was great. The tour guide on the bus was helpful. The tour company we booked with was awful. They kept calling us and others in our group to reschedule and even cancelled our original tour we had booked online for 4 months claiming their bus was needing maintenance that day, but then kept calling us trying to rebook us for the same dates or other dates again saying the bus was going to be out for maintenance. 3 different calls and I had to keep reminding them they had already rescheduled us. The worst part was when we finally got to the memorial, the tour company accidentally gave us tickets for the wrong time slot so we weren't able to enter, only finally the parks department ranger pushed us passed others in the stand by line so we could be with the others in the same tour group. Do not book with Aloha Pearl Harbor Tours.

Michael was our tour guide. He was very informative and a great historian. We enjoyed all of the tour. Our favorite part was visiting the memorial. It was very emotional being at the location where so many men lost their lives protecting our country.

Rob our tour guide was great!! He tried to keep everyone laughing on the way to Pearl Harbor while sharing Hawaiian history. High winds made our boat the last one out to the memorial. The tour company can’t control this- but we really lucked out.

Our tour guide to Pearl Harbor went above and beyond during this tour. Not only did he make sure we were fully informed about the tour and what to expect, he also stopped at a few places a long the way and let us get out to take pictures. He made sure we had all the information we needed about touring Pearl Harbor and was well worth it!

Terrible Driver Sinks Tour by Himself

It really isn't my thing to take time to write nasty reviews online. In fact, all tours I've booked in the past have gone great. And this one probably would have as well -- except for the driver of the bus, who single-handedly managed to make the experience frankly excruciating. First, the company asked us to get to the meeting point 15 minutes early. We did. The guy got there 15 minutes late. No heads up, no notifications, we were left having to call the company for fear that we had somehow missed our pick up. Once on the bus... He. Would. Not. Stop. Talking. I don't mean like any tour guide whose job it is to tell passengers about the landscapes/buildings we are seeing. I mean like compulsive talking. Like he physically could not shut up, even when he had absolutely nothing worthwhile saying. We were on the bus for a good two hours, if not more. I honestly doubt we ever had more than 3 consecutive seconds of silence. When he had nothing to say, he tried constantly to make lame jokes (repeatedly asking the passengers ''Am I funny?'', ''Am I funny?'' to get their validation) and share completely irrelevant personal information (e.g. about the fact that his weight had dropped from 290 to 240 pounds). And, even being a tour guide, he did not seem to know how to speak with a microphone -- constantly speaking too loudly / close to it and having his words and sentences POP out. How bad was it? We had to get out BEFORE our drop-off point; we preferred walking to having to endure one more minute of it. I've never written a review like this before, and have nothing personally against the guy in question -- he seemed to be a nice fellow. But he honestly almost single-handedly RUINED the experience for us. His name was Robert. Also: the scheduling was poorly thought-out. We got there way too early and had to wait two hours before our schedule tour of the USS Arizona. I'm giving this a single star because of Pearl Harbor itself. Make no mistake, it is absolutely worth seeing. But not with this company -- and NOT with this driver.

Great tour - rough start!

The start of the experience was rough. The company calls a few times to make sure you know that they will leave you if you are late. My family and I get there on time (5 min early) and ended up waiting 25 minutes. No one picks up the customer service phone so we were stressed that they left without us as there were a ton of buses at that location. Once Robert picked us up, we had the best time. He is an amazing person who truly enjoys his job and takes pride with the history of Hawaii. He made up for all the stress at the beginning. When they call you to confirm, just make sure you know what stop you are (we were last) and what the bus looks like (no signage) and you’ll be all good. It was worth the price!

We spent more time looking at Honolulu's city sights and random commentary about the tour guide Robert's personal life than about or at Pearl Harbor. We barely had 2 hours at Pearl Harbor and everything felt so rushed and poorly planned. The whole bag drop queue itself took almost 20 minutes from the 2 hours. Very badly planned tour!!

Robert is a wonderful tour guide. He gives you an abundance of information about the island and Pearl Harbor. You have plenty of time at Pearl Harbor, The bus is very nice and clean. Robert gave us snacks and drinks as well. We highly recommend this tour for individuals or families.

The Aloha Pearl Harbor tour was great! Our guide was good but wished he would’ve stop talking about the Don Quijote store….that got old very quickly!!! The only huge disappointment was the tour said it was until 3:30 pm and we were back by 1:15 pm. We would have liked more time at Pearl Harbor.

Just being there! Well done, lots of plaques giving great detail and descriptions and pics. Orderly and organized. The Bowfish submarine tour was incredible & worth the extra money. The museum was phenomenal. Lots of detail , artifacts, personal stories and it provided chronology. Worth every penny!
