Awesome walking tour, full of new experiences and tastes!

Had a wonderful morning with our guide. We travelled from the meeting point by Tuk-tuk to starting point at a local eating place for breakfast where we tried local breakfast fare including congee, Thai donuts and warm soy milk. We then walked to a local fresh food market where our guide explained a number of different fruits and vegetables, curry pastes and prepared meals. We then went for a street walk trying some local foods and drinks on the way to a restaurant which served Chinese style roast duck served wit a Thai influence. It was an excellent morning all round.

Tour for foodies

We had a brilliant walk around the markets with our tour guide Cream, she was very knowledgeable and funny. We tried lots of different local foods they were all so yummy but I think my favorite was the pineapple deep fried. I would definitely recommend this tour if you like food.

Outstanding - if you only do one thing, do this tour

Our guide was Belle and she met us at the hotel for a short ride to the market. She was a delight - very friendly, and knowledgable and spoke good English. We had a great tour of the market with lots of tasting at the market and before and afterwards at local restaurants and street food stalls. Arranging the tour was so easy and Leigh who runs the company couldn’t do enough for us - even taking the time to confirm arrangements before the trip. We cannot recommend this trip enough - if you only do one thing in Hua Hin - this is it! Leigh also does other tours and we wish we were staying long enough to sample some more!

Excellent introduction to the Hua Hin food scene. Be warned, when the tour info says come hungry you really need to take the advice. Our favorites were dry fried yellow curry and the Ratama restaurant.

Good tour, a wide variety of foods to taste and a tour of the market too. We did the morning foodies tour with 5 stops and the market. Belle was really passionate about the food and her city and her English was really good and easy to get nderstand. The weather was really heavy rain and Leigh came out to meet us and say hello and actually took us umbrellas which was really kind of her before we left the market and headed to the streets !!! Much appreciated indeed. The last stop was closed where we were to have a special meal which was just one of those things but we found another restaurant which had some interesting and different food. No hesitation in recommending the tour and a good way to start the day !!

Forget coloured curries and Pad Thai. If you want to find out more about different Thai food you won't go wrong. Knowledge tour guide Kate and her assistant Pookie took us on this culinary adventure including a very interesting tour of the markets and visits to street food traders and little restaurants with specialty dishes to die for.
