Pick-up from all Hotels and Accommodation located in Lovedale, Nulkaba, Cessnock, Rothbury and Pokolbin locations (only) commence at 9:15am for a 10:00am start (morning tour) OR 2:15pm for a 3:00pm start (afternoon tour). Provide your accommodation name/full address when booking. Your pick-up time will be advised the day prior (by 6:30pm) via text. Please note: we do not travel to Sydney or Newcastle.

Our tour guide, Felicity was the best. Felicity was funny and professional, proactive and flexible, informative and helpful. The distillery was delicious as was Blueberry Hill and Hunter Lab Wineries. We had cheese and chocolate pairing with our wines, what could be better? Felicity picked us up at the places where we were staying which made the whole afternoon relaxing and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this tour!

Great tour to take

Despite original tour being cancelled, late notification, Viator customer services booking us onto a replacement tour that was cheaper, no refund offered and replacement tour also not running. IHOP obliged by picking us up on a tour that was operating. Great communication fron IHOP. Tim our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Winery / distillery staff also. Purchases made. Great half day fun. Shame about the weather.

A fun and delicious afternoon!

We three old gals on a birthday celebration were treated to a fabulous afternoon with visits and tastings to three boutique premises: a distillery, a winery (with a huge antipasto platter laid on) and another winery with an intriguing wine/chocolate matching for us. A wonderful driver/guide looked after us and we felt this tour was great value and a delightful way to spend an afternoon. Though purchases aren't necessary I couldn't resist buying something from all three premises. Highly recommended!!

The tour was a great taster for Hunter Valley. Loved going to family owned wineries and the distillery was so great! All the products were locally sourced and the food quantities provided were a lot larger than expected. The iHop team were so helpful and communicative from booking right to the end. Special shout out for Flick who truly went above and beyond for our group!

My wife and I went on this tour to celebrate our anniversary We had such a great time visiting 3 venues and had the opportunity to capture a sunset tour group photo. We joined another group in the tour and the tour group size was 11 people. On the way to the first venue, the group learned about the history of the Hunter Valley. The first stop was the Pokolbin Distillery which offered tastings of Gin, Vodka and Liqueur made from local ingredients. The barman provided loads of advice on how to use these spirits to make cocktails and other alcoholic beverages. The second venue, Blueberry Hill provided many local cheeses and wines. We were given a lesson in matching cheeses with right wines. The last venue Food and wine lab had excellent pale ale beer and a unique range of chocolates which tasted amazing with some of the local wines. Before the end of the tour, there was time to capture some scenic group photos. Overall, I was very satisfied with the tour and experience.

Enjoyable and Relaxing Afternoon

Had a small group on out tour which we found very enjoyable. Tim (tour guide) was very knowledgeable of the region. We have visited the hunter on a number of occasions and it was good to be taken to some of the smaller and less known wineries. The wineries we visited were very welcoming and the staff extremely hospitable. We would definitely do a similar tour again when next visiting the hunter region.

One of the best experience I've ever had, and we will be booking this tour again. Thank you Kristy from the initial pickup and drop off you were incredible. Tim was amazing.. informative, friendly & very accomodating. Tonya at the Winehouse was the perfect host. She had wit , charm & left you feeling like you were her new best friend … & she made a great charcuterie board !!! Nathan & Leonie at the Hunter Winelab were every girls dream … wine & chocolate . Super friendly . Pink Prosecco… yum!! Would definitely go back xx

Loved everything about the experience! Our driver was Graeme who was super friendly and very helpful! Dropped us all where we wanted to go afterwards (witching the area of course) and the locations we were taken to were great, had lots of great wine, met new people and would recommend this to anyone :)

Felicity was excellent - was on time at every step, informative and with loads of personality. Each tasting was worth the stop and exceeded expectations. In particular, the Wine Lab and Nathan was exceptionally informative and good fun.

Outstanding experience, excellent value

This tour was a fantastic way to experience the Hunter valley. The tour operators planned different winery experiences that exposed us to a variety of great food, wine and spirits. We were a family group of 8 with a range of ages and drinking/eating preferences. This tour catered to them all. It was great to have someone else (more of an expert than me) do all the hard work deciding where to go and transporting us to each of the venues. It meant we were really able to enjoy ourselves. The venues selected exposed us to a variety of wine styles highlighting the diversity of the 167 odd vineyards in the region. We were so well catered to with the food and wine, we all fell asleep on our return to the hotel and needed coffee shots to kick start us for the evening we had planned. Our family were also particularly please to spend time with the amazing dogs at some of the venues. Overall it was not just a great experience it was great value. It was so much more than what we had anticipated. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. We have all agreed to do it again soon with different friend groups.
