We took a VIP semiprivate tour yesterday and we absolutely enjoyed it! The crews were professional, starting from helping us to fit the snorkel gears, and to the sea to take care of you. After the tour, the crew prepared nice ceviche and drink for us.

Kevin and Ernesto were great. Wonderful snorkeling at lighthouse and other stops even in less than great conditions. Ceviche was excellent and our kids had a great time overall. Smaller boat but we expected that since it was a smaller tour.

While we had an enjoyable time there are some things I wish I'd known before booking:
1. We were really only in the water for about 45min-1hour. It took almost an hour just to complete check in and get on our boat.
2. There is an added $5 pp dock fee that is not included in the price.
3. While snorkeling isn't "hard", the boat they used on our tour required dexterity, balance and strength to exit and re-enter. These aren't walk-off boats with submerged ladders. You will need to jump off the boat from higher up and climb a ladder back over the ledge.

My family and I had a fantastic time on the this experience. The snorkeling was incredible, beautiful sea creatures, clear waters, and an underground museum. The guides, Uriel and the Captain of the boat, were friendly and knowledgeable, and our small group made the experience feel special. The boat was clean, and the whole experience was well-organized. They even had Ceviche and margaritas for us to enjoy. They also took videos and pictures of us! I recommend getting there on time and using the restroom before hand so you don't lose a minute. Highly recommend this tour if you want a great time on Isla Mujeres!

We had a wonderful snorkeling trip around Isla Mujeres! Kevin and Captain Diego were both fun and wonderful guide. This was our first time snorkeling and they explained all of the equipment and tips on how to get the best experience. We went to 3 spots and saw beautiful fish, starfish, and even a sea turtle! Some tips for people traveling: We came from a resort in Playa Mujeres and needed a taxi to get to the UltraMar Ferry. Once we got to Isla Mujeres, it was a short walk to the meeting spot. We recommend bringing a wet bag and applying sunscreen beforehand since you can't do this on the boat (to protect the reef). This excursion was a great deal and we will definitely come back again next time we are here!

Great experience overall and bonus that it was a small group of 8. I highly recommend the semi private option. Koodos to our guide Jorge, it was his first tour and he did great! The actual tour is 2hrs not 3 as advertised and we were late getting started!

Ernesto and Teo were the best! Very fun and friendly, and gave us information on the Mayan culture. We went to 4 great snorkeling spots, and the ceviche they made was delicious!

We had an amazing time with Kevin & our Captain. They truly wanted us to have the best experience. they updated us about the sea being more foggy and in great communication decided all together to go see some other places. They put a lot of effort in the photos and saw stingrays and huge fishes! Def recommend! Also helped out with my first time diving deeper and gave good tips. Thank you!!

What a FANTASTIC adventure :-) Our guide was Diego and our captain was Ernesto - both of these guys were knowledgeable, helpful, professional, and lots of fun. We went on the 8:30 tour because snorkeling is always better in the morning. There were 4 stops total, and each had its own unique charm. The first spot by the lighthouse set the tone - there were TONS of fish and the shallow water was beautiful. Spot two was also full of fish, and we saw black angel fish, red snapper, coral, and a starfish. The third stop was deeper and we saw a stingray. Diego also showed off his free dive skills - AMAZING! The final stop was the underwater museum with statues and a car. Again this was in 25-30 feet of water - really beautiful. I wish I had pictures, but I did not push the memory card in all the way, so nothing recorded ;(
Another bonus is that we were mostly by ourselves and not in a crowded fish bowl so we say plenty. Aside from snorkeling, we also played boat ride karaoke! Super fun! We sang Jimmy Buffett songs and Diego took video, which is way this review is called "Cheeseburger in Paradise" :-)
You can find snorkel tours that cost less, but this is a high quality experience...most of your time is spent in the water, not on a boat ride. There were 4 of us in my group and two others joined us. It was to nice to know that we would have maxed out at 8...the smaller group size makes a huge difference. Also, Captain Ernesto make fresh ceviche - the best ceviche I have ever had...super fresh with just the right lime zing - PERFEFCTO!
Do yourself a favor and spend a little more - it is totally worth it! I will book with these guys again when I return to Cancun/Isla Mujeres :-)

Very small group of five. The boat captain and guide were very friendly and took good care of us. Beautiful corals, a lot of fish to watch. The island is nice and can be seen within an hour, if you higher a golf cart. Definitely worth!
