      We meet our guests in the 100 plus year old Buffalo Valley Cafe on the Heart 6 Ranch. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner in front of a wonderful wood burning stove. If you need to arrange pick up we can arrange this for an additional fee.

    We had a great time, and it appeared the dogs did too. Our guide was nice and the staff who checked us in was super helpful. We arrived early bc we were driving through the park and they were able to get us in earlier than our reservation. I would 100% do this again. Great for families traveling in the area with smaller children.

    This was an amazing experience. We are so glad we did it. The tour guide was amazing and so nice and told us so much information on all the dogs . The dogs were just so amazing we got to pet them and take pics with them too.

    The dog sledding experience was awesome and our guide, Taylor was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and engaging. You could tell the dogs were well cared for and the staff passionate about what they do!

    The place was great, the dogs were in great shape, the sleds were new and nice! The guides were friendly! The only thing was we just rode in circles in a big field right below the restaurant. We didn't really go anywhere and my husband was disappointed as we were hoping to be taken somewhere besides 45 mins of circles.

    The dog mushers were fabulous and did a great job accommodating us when unexpected obstacles popped up (down a musher/sled last minute). The communication between myself, viator, and the mushers was extremely lacking leading to more last minute changes and confusion. The route could've been better, as we were only in an open area and following the same small loop. Would've liked to go through trees and see some more scenery.

    Taylor was a great guide. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. It would’ve been nice to go a bit farther from the lodge into the wilderness but other than that the time we had there was awesome. We would definitely recommend this experience to others.

    The dog sledding adventure was definitely a fun different thing to do. Our handler Taylor was great with the dogs and very personable. The one downside was there was not enough snow. The dogs had to work harder and the area covered was not as far due to lack of snowfall which can not be held against the activity. It was fun watching the different dog attitudes and playfulness. The dogs do have to stop and take breaks and that is ubderstandable.and interesting to see how they communicate their needs to the handler.

    Taylor, the lead dog musher, is wonderful! He cares for all the dogs so much, the physical and emotional well being. He socializes them humanely. It’s wonderful to see. I hope he runs the Iditarod some day❤️

    Dog sled and also a snow mobile tour. We had a great time. The guides were exception for the snowmobiling. We enjoyed the snap falling all day. Would definitely come back.

    My husband I did the sledding adventure together for our honeymoon and it was SO fun!! The team is so caring of the pups and they’re so sweet. Beautiful experience! Definitely recommend

    The mushers and dogs were awesome and we enjoyed our first time in a dog sled. The views in Buffalo Valley topped it off.

    This was a great experience! We got picked up at our hotel (call the ranch to schedule pick up and drop off). It lasted about 30-45 minutes, but thought it was the right amount of time. Heart 6 Ranch is wonderful! We also got to enjoy a sleigh ride and hot chocolate, coffee or tea and cookies. There is a cafe onsite , so if you get hungry before you go back.

    We showed up early to have breakfast. Our waitress, Tori took care of all the details a wagon ride with horses, puppies and yes, the dog sled. Her and the whole team were great.

    Not only got to play with the dogs and puppies but had the option of a horse-drawn ride. So fun riding and was even given the chance to drive the sled. So much fun! My only thing I would change is that you do not leave the property or really see any wildlife.
    A fun ride with caveats

    The ride was fun but the sled was old and narrow. I and my wife (see pictures) are not overly big people but on the turns the frame dug into my hips causing excruciating pain. You need to acquire a sled that normal people can actually fit into comfortably. You also delayed out ride an hour to accommodate some other people and never offered a good explanation. Also you might not be aware of it but a sleigh usually has runners, not wheels. The sleigh ride was pretty lame. Our musher was very personable and knowledgeable. He saved the day. Meeting the puppies was a highlight and the dogs were well trained.
