If you are not staying in the Town of Jackson, WY, you will need to meet at the Home Ranch Parking Lot at 250 N Cache St. Due to major construction and awful commute traffic between Jackson and Teton Village in the afternoons, Teton Village Pick ups are NOT available for Sunset Tours :(

What To Expect

Your wildlife-watching tour begins when your seasoned guide picks you up in the late afternoon. Pickup and drop-off is available from the town of Jackson.

Travel into the wilderness of Grand Teton National Park (entrance fees included) and your guide will find the best spots for wildlife viewing. Explore areas such as the Oxbow Bend, Jenny and Jackson Lakes, and the historic barns of Mormon Row.

Listen to your guide's commentary about the wildlife that makes their homes in the area; they'll lead you to the best locations for spotting osprey, eagles, foxes, coyotes, pronghorn, bison, deer, elk, black bears, and grizzly bears. You're welcome to make use of the binoculars at Oxbow Bend viewpoint and other lookout points. Dinner is provided.

Return to your hotel for drop-off after 5 hours of snapping photos and watching wildlife in their natural habitat.

Great Tour

Ben was an awesome tour guide! He is very knowledgeable of everything in the area. We saw bison, elk and somehow Ben spotted a bald eagle! Picnic lunch was fresh and good. So many amazingly gorgeous spots that we stopped at for photos. Jenny Lake was breathtaking and our favorite.

Jeff Brown was great! He connected everyone on the shuttle bus together and gave us great info about the area and Cody Brown from Sister Wives lol! We had a great time! Saw some amazing wildlife and scenery. Everyone loved the sandwiches and cookies!

Our original tour was cancelled but the Viator representative did an excellent job of switching our tour/date. Our guide, Chance, was excellent in his knowledge of the area and what visitor want to know and see. I would highly recommend any one of these tours. Lunch was great and our Guide picked a wonderful spot to enjoy it. (Our guide even sent us some pictures he took on the trip.) Thanks to all involved for making this trip a GRAND experience for us.

Out guide Sierra was fantastic. We saw some moose, elk, beaver lodges, and sandhill cranes and herons! While we did not see a bear, it certainly was not for lack of trying. Sierra went to all of their favorite eating places, more than once. She was very knowledgeable, and friendly. Would definitely recommend her as a guide .

Our guide was not only knowledgeable about wildlife but also about the history, flora and geology of the park. Our group asked quite a few questions and she always had an answer! And I have to add that I didn’t have high expectations with regard to the sandwiches provided, but they were fresh and quite good. I really enjoyed this tour; I think everyone did. Highly recommend!

Chance, our guide, was good and very knowledgeable of the area. Disappointed that we didn't get to see much of the wildlife. I do understand this wasn't his falt, but the tour seemed a bit drawn out at some point in the 5hr trip. One suggestion would be to not to have tinted windows in the van, at dusk the folks sitting in the back of the van could see as well as the person sitting in the front passenger seat could see.

Hi Kyle, yes, it is always disappointing when we do not see a lot of wildlife on some tours. Every month, day and time of day is different and most of the time we see lots of beautiful animals, but other times we do not. Bummer that this had to be a strike against Chance and the Tour. For readers knowledge, at dusk, lighting does get tougher but it is also a time when wildlife start to come out and we stop and get out of the vehicle to see and photograph.

Amazing Grand Tetons & Wildlife Tour

Amazing Grand Teton National Park Sunset tour today: we saw Mormon Row & The Mouton Barn, and the spectacular Grand Teton Mountain Range. Today’s wildlife viewing showed lots of bison, a grizzly mama bear and her 3 baby cubs, a black bear, many elk (the male antlers were huge!) and a pronghorn! It was an amazing day! Also got to hear two elk bugling! So cool! Also a big shoutout to Nick our tour guide. He was awesome! He had so much knowledge and did a great job pointing out everything and spotting wildlife!
