Ferial was our lovely guide with almost perfect English, on a tour of old Jeddah that included the small alleyways , architecture history of the place and when fasting was over also food tasting.
She was knowledgeable and patient, did not rush at any moment. Very recommended !!!!

Ferial is a wonderful guide and a very-very nice person! It was my first time in Saudi Arabia, and I can definitely say that there's no chance to know Al-Balad as good as with Ferial. We spent a wonderful time, heard lots of stories, tasted some street food and visited lots of places that I would have passed by if I were alone :)
If I come back (hope so), I’ll definitely contact Ferial for hiking or cooking.

I was a bit apprehensive about traveling solo for the first time in Saudi Arabia but Ferial put everything to rest and more! I was alone so I ended up having to book 2 slots to reserve so double the price but I thought it was well worth it. I booked it last minute (literal morning of) and she still accommodated my booking (starting at 4pm), picked me up promptly on time, and took me around. I had a lot of funny questions but she answered them all and also provided a lot of historical context. You can tell she knows what she’s doing because she seems to know EVERY tour guide and employees working there. She got me into places that were even closed and skipped long lines for things — truly a VIP experience. I got to try some Arabian coffee, street food, and camel milk. I DID NOT GET SICK! She also had the best recommendation for local food afterwards. She had lots of activity recommendations too but I ended up passing out early that day because it is a lot of walking. The diner at the restaurant she dropped me off at afterwards even asked me how I found the spot because it was heavily local. All this to say, if I’m coming back, I’ll definitely be contacting Ferial for another tour.

Having booked the trip the night before, Ferial greeted us on WhatsApp and confirmed the trip the next morning. Ferial was super passionate, kind and knowledgeable about the everything in Saudi Arabia. She was able to answer all of the questions we had through the lens of a Saudi local woman. She also recommended to us local dinner restaurants which was amazing. Would highly recommend anyone interested going to Jeddah old city!

We had an excellent time with Ferial, it felt more like being shown around by a friend. It was so interesting to get a woman’s perspective on life in Saudi Arabia. The old town is beautiful but currently undergoing a lot of renovations. We particularly enjoyed meeting the Saudi Royal artist in his studio, spending time in a coffee shop & sampling street food & dates!

Ferial, a very pleasant and knowledgeable guide, who not only gave us a good introduction to Jeddah's old town and the work on its restoration, but also gave us an insight into both culture and everyday life. It was also a great advantage to have a woman as a guide, as she could give us a description of changes in women's rights in recent years, and how she experiences these. We also got to visit a coffee shop, a local eatery, a bookstore with older books, a mosque and much more, where we got to meet the owner in several places and were introduced to local customs. After the trip, we also received suggestions for other activities in Jeddah. A strong recommendation from us
