What To Expect
This full-day tour begins with a Jerusalem hotel pickup in an air-conditioned coach. Then drive to the city of Nazareth, the capital and largest city in the Northern District of Israel, also known as 'the Arab capital of Israel.' In the New Testament, Nazareth is described as the home of Mary and the childhood home of Jesus. As a result, it’s a center of Christian pilgrimage, with many shrines commemorating biblical events here.
On this tour, visit the Church of the Annunciation, where the Angel Gabriel visited the Virgin Mary to tell her she would be the mother of Jesus and the Church of St. Joseph, built over the carpentry workshop of Mary’s husband, Joseph.
Further north, pass by the Church of the Multiplication next to the Sea of Galilee. This is where the miracle of the five loaves and two fish took place in the Gospel of John. Walk along the shores of the Sea of Galilee and visit the village of Capernaum, where Jesus spent time teaching in the local synagogue. It was also the hometown of the apostles Peter, James, Andrew, and John.
Finally, travel to the southern end of the Sea of Galilee, where the Jordan River meets the Dead Sea in Tiberias. This is where Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist. Consider being baptized here as part of this tour.
The sightseeing concludes at this point. Then, board the coach for a return trip to the Jerusalem hotels, passing Mount Tabor, believed by many Christians to be the site of the Transfiguration of Jesus, on the return trip.

Great trip to the church where Jesus performed a miracle to feed a large crowd, and sea of Galilee.
Our guide, Dan (sorry I forget his last name. A short, mid-aged, Jewish fellow, wearing glasses), was highly knowledgeable, articulate, and responsible. He talked to us a lot about Jewish/Christian history, and Israeli politics.
We also met a lot of people from around the world (South Africa, Switzerland, India, Australia, etc) making a pilgrimage to see Christian holy sites. Was lovely talking to them!

Great tour guide. Very knowledgeable and helpful.! Only negative - We spent too much time trying to pick up one no-show person and had to wait several times for stragglers. Didn’t care for long stop at gift shop. Would be better to make it optional and less time.

Another tour with Orion - fantastic! Orion’s attention to his tourists is top notch - ensuring we had plenty of shade and water as well as a much needed coffee to start this very early tour. His ability to weave a story brought history to life. Seeing the home of Peter and the synagogue where Jesus and his apostles studied in Capharnaum was the highlight. The Sea of Galilee was beautiful and the River Jordan picturesque. Purchased the olive oil from local olive trees - look forward to enjoying as we relive memories of the day.

Orion, our tour guide was very knowledgeable. He’s a very good historian.
We ate St Peter’s fish by the Sea of Galilee. This was a great tour, but was a little long. So, it’s good to take a nap in the bus. Bring your passports bec of random checks.

Our guide (Doris Epstein) was really terrific - not too much, not too little with regard to explanations and information, sensitive to the different sides of complex cultural issues and very friendly, without being obtrusive. The tour itself was interesting: sort of a "best of" the areas of Nazaret and the Galilee Sea areas, perhaps a bit too fast for those who wish more in-depth experiences, but it matched the descriptions in the web offering.

I have to, our tour guide Dorit and driver (forgot his name 🤔) were an amazing duo. Her explanations along almost everything we saw as we drove to the different locations on the tour were exactly what was expected and needed for my first time partner’s visit to the holy land. If you have a chance, definitely request this tour / tour guide and you will be a happy camper.

The tour guide Duwit was very knowledgeable about the history and events of the past till present about Israel and the neighbouring country. She was very pleasant, accommodating to our questions which she answered very clearly. The driver was also very considerate to us. Ready to cool the bus in a very warm weather. Overall the experience was awesome. Duwit related Bible verses to the place and persons involved on the places we went. Thumbs up!
