Irresponsible Operator who should be avoided
Moshe_P, Apr 2023
Do not use Tourist Israel! Absolutely, go see Wadi Rum and Petra but Tourist Israel does not care about the safety of their participants. On our return trip, the roads were flooded and we were told that it would be impossible for us to go to Jerusalem until the next day. Obviously, not their fault but their appalling response leaves no doubt that you should avail yourself of the various other operators. Upon reaching the road block, they rerouted the bus to a mall and had us wait for about an hour and half. In that time, they cooked up a plan so halfbaked and callous that it is hard to believe. They told us that the roads were going to be closed until the next morning and that our return bus would leave at 830am They then dropped us on the side of the road and sent everyone off. The company's representative went home and everyone was left to fend for themselves. They refused to pay for or even coordinate sleeping arrangements, basically leaving 50 people on the street. Even though the government opened up shelter for people stranded in Eilat they did not take people there. Only when guests refused to leave the safety of the bus for the unknown of a city street did the police arrive and share that there was a shelter. The next morning, the bus was not there at 8:25. I called and they explained that it would now be leaving at 10am. This lack of communication and previous breaches of trust left us with no confidence they would deliver so we ended up taking an Egged bus as a return. They should be ashamed but I don't think they are. Stay away!
Wonderful

Amazing trip. They quickly take you from each amazing location to the next and make sure you get the most out of your time. Border crossing handled well. Visar was a great guide, thank you!
What an experience!

Whilst it felt like an age to get to Petra starting at 3am from Jerusalem via border control etc I cannot recommend this tour enough and was absolutely worth the early start. Petra was amazing, the treasury was impressive but there was so much more to see. Every few meters you walk you see something in the valley walls. The Bendiun camp exceeded expectations... the room was really comfortable with onsuite etc. Food was delicious and authentic. The Wadi Rum jeep tour was breathtaking with amazing views of the Jordan desert Our tour guide was also fantastic, did a great job of letting everyone know where they had to be and at what time, as well as what to expect at all of the places we visited. Well organised and would recommend to anyone.
