Eli @ Viator is Amazing in Israel
Sandra_M, May 2023
What a tremendous tour! We can not say enough wonderful things about our guide Eli Yacob. He arrived early, very energetic and excited to begin our tour! Eli is very knowledgeable with Israel history & current times. He knows the country of Israel very well. We stopped for local food, falafel and it was delicious! I got baptized during this tour & Eli took amazing photos and videos. We had so many beautiful stops on this tour. Eli went above & beyond by answering all of our questions and touring places we had never even thought of or imagined. We even rode a camel. Eli takes great pride in his country and very passionate of his profession. He truly wants visitors to share in his wealth of information of Israel. Eli took us to St George Monastery from a distance, beautiful. When booking this tour we cannot recommend anyone else but Eli. He is such an amazing ambassador for Israel & Viator. Thank you Eli & Viator.

This a great and sincere expression of gratitude for your praise-worthy guide, Eli. His efforts are sensed and felt by all who tour with him.
Couldn't ask for more!

Couldnt ask for more! Daniel-exceptionally knowledgeable, rooted in history, attentive to ue; together with Mohamed, they took care of us so so well, esp with an 84 year old mother with us.

Thanks for this positive feedback on your tour guided by Daniel and the driver. We appreciate your mention of the good care you received throughout. So it should be!

We did not take the package tour, but instead, with our driver, designed a customized tour that was highly satisfactory. Our guide was knowledgable, and flexible.

Private Tour with Itamar Worth The Extra $
Laura S, Jul 2018
We took the private tour with Itamar, and he was excellent! He was very warm and engaging. He took the time to learn about what was important to us and adapted the tour to our needs. We had a member of our group that was struggling with the walking and heat. He quickly noticed this and again made adjustments for our comfort. We are so fortunate to have ended up with Itamar. He really enhanced our experience and made this trip even more meaningful and special.

We booked as a private trip as there were 5 of us and we were returning to Tel Aviv not Jerusalem. Our assigned driver/guide was not only rude, but did not seem to think he was a guide but rather just a driver. When he picked us up he said Where do you want to go We replied that we had booked the Nazareth Tiberias and Sea of Galilee Day Trip to which he said there is no way you can do all that in a day We were obviously surprised. At any rate we did see some of the sights listed but he was very annoyed during the entire day. I do not know his full name because he flashed his badge quickly upon introduction, then put it in his pocket never to be seen again and told us to call him a nickname. I believe he is past his date of retirement, he no longer wants to do this job. I would not book thru Viator again I do not think they vet their guides. We had a wonderful guide in Jerusalem and in Mosada but not thru Viator.

We enjoyed our Private day trip to Nazareth, Tiberias and Sea of Galilee from Jerusalem with our guide Moshe. This being our first private tour, we didn't realize that the prices would've been the same for about 5 people as a group tour. The private tours are way more flexible and allow you to concentrate on what's important to you and not the group. The group is smaller so you can get in and out of places you might not get to visit with a large group and coash. We visited all of the holy sites of Nazareth including the Church of the Annunciation and Church of St Joseph, visited the church on the Sea of Galilee where Jesus is said to have cooked fish waiting for the disciples to come in from a night of fishing, visited the Church of the Loaves and Fishes. We had a great lunch as Moshe guided us into the essential culinary aspects of the full experience from kafe to dates to St. Peter's fish. We enjoyed our baptism experience on the Jordan River at the holy site of Yarendit. The flexible itinerary and undivided attention from our knowledgeable guide Moshe were the best part and I know we made a new friend as a result of this meeting and we immediately called the company to request he be our private guide on our Masada tour. Brian B, Jul 2017
What we saw was great, but we didn't do everything that was on the itinerary. We were excited to get on a boat on the Sea of Galilee and the tour guide said it wasn't part of the tour even though the description said it was. Also, I've NEVER been on a tour where I've had to pay for parking or entrance into an area. We had to do both on this tour. A private tour where you pay extra should be better than that.

We had a knowledgeable guide who delivered everything that was promised. The sites were incredible, although the heat was incredible too.
