The tour guide was very knowledgeable- you should add this to your must see tour - he took us to off beaten sights
Excellent tour, highly recommend!!!

This was our first visit to Key West and we highly recommend this tour! A.J. is such a knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and fun tour guide! We learned so much about the history of Key West - he covered a myriad of topics, from architecture to religion to military history to environmental issues. This tour definitely has something for everyone - we particularly enjoyed learning about KW’s colorful political history and touring a few famous bars. Who knew we would have the opportunity to visit KW’s only surviving cigar factory and watch cigars being rolled by hand? And that the author Judy Blume owns a bookstore in town? We walked and talked for 2 hours - and it went by quickly because we saw and did so much! Note that this tour may be best for teens and adults.
Highly recommend

AJ was a fabulous tour guide that took us through a walking tour of neighborhoods and history. From Bahamanian to Cuban, Ponce de Leon and the islands beginnings, trades, economic development and cultures, we all learned a great deal. Visiting the Cuban cigar making, Cuban history and influence at the museum, we also learned about the types of architecture and it was so interesting. I love all the chickens and roosters roaming around! AJ made it all fun. Recommend highly!!!
Try Something Different in Key West

We go on walking tours in almost every city we visit. We live in FL and have been to Key West many times, but have never done a guided walking tour. We took the tour with AJ and it was great. The group was small and he was very accommodating even to latecomers who joined us mid-tour. He has lived in KW for 20+ years and knows a lot of history. He took us through neighborhoods, to famous landmarks and even through an old historical bar with ghost stories. It was great FUN! We highly recommend it for something different to do in Key West.

AJ had a wealth of Key West history at his finger tips. It was very interesting to hear of how Key West began and how it developed over the years. We visited many historic sites as well as fun places where it is happening now. It was a great review of the historical to the fun facts around Key West.
Fun, interesting tour, a must do on your trip

We have actually visited Key West before but hadn’t taken a tour. Alejandro was our guide and he was very knowledgeable about the history of Key West and the area and took us to places we never would have seen or known about. Now we need to go back to some of those spots and spend more time! Thank you for a wonderful experience

An excellent walking tour thru historic Key West! Our guide AJ, a long time Key West resident, was delightful and shared interesting background and insights into the history and development of Key West. It helped that it was also a "Chamber of Commerce" day! Would definitely recommend this tour!

Great tour. AJ is a fantastic tour guide. Meeting location was easy to find. Enjoyed tour of cigar making facility and rum distillery. Learned a lot about the history of the key.
Good tour, good exercise. Gets you off the beaten path.
Jason_J, Jan 2024
I liked getting away from the super-touristy areas. Saw some major sites such as Ernest Hemingway House as well as lesser-known architectural gems.
