What To Expect

Show up at the Opal Key Resort & Marina, located at 241 Front St, Key West, 30 minutes before your booked departure time.

Step aboard a modern catamaran, equipped with both sun decks and shaded areas. Set sail for North America's only living coral reef, enjoying the tropical island scenery on the way. Sip provided soda and water as you sail.

Once you arrive at the reef, descend easily into the water using the 'stairway to the sea' and begin exploring. Swim around to see coral varieties and tropical fish found only in these waters.

Back on the boat, use the freshwater rinse and sip an ice-cold beer or margarita (afternoon trip only) on the way back to the marina.

FURY WILL PROVIDE YOU WITH SNORKEL INSTRUCTION AND EQUIPMENT, BUT YOU MUST KNOW WHOW TO SWIM IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY SNORKEL ADVENTURE.
Guests 17 and younger must have a parent or guardian present at check in to sign waivers
Alcohol will not be served until the snorkeling portion of the trip has ended

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

A:All participants must know how to swim. The tour takes you about 7 miles offshore and there will not be a place for you to touch or stand while snorkeling. All guests will receive flotation devices for their safety.

A:Mask, snorkel, buoyancy compensator, and fins for snorkeling are provided. You are more than welcome to bring your own gear if you wish. Wetsuits can be rented seasonally for $15 per person payable on the date of travel.

The crew was so nice and fun. The weather was in the windy side and so we went to a different spot than the barrier reef but the snorkeling was still fun. Saw mostly fish and an eels. The ride back was so fun and beautiful.

The drinks were good and the crew was great. We didn’t snorkel more then 10 minutes because there were jelly fish everywhere, it was scary trying to avoid them and we talk about it every day how they were everywhere and how we wouldn’t have went if we knew. I’ve snorkeled in Mexico and no problem. It was an unforgettable experience.

Their locations in the ocean are ever changing. When we have encountered jellyfish earlier in the day we will advise all guests beforehand. Nature being as it is, we do not always know where they will be ahead of time. Many days, jellyfish will only be present at the reef for a short period and will not affect any tours. We are glad you enjoyed the libations and the crew! We hope to have the opportunity to take you out again when the jellyfish are not migrating.

I would have to say it was a bad experience. The only reason I gave it an average rating is because the crew was nice. We landed near the coral reef and there was moon jelly fish everywhere. The captain acted like it was no big deal. I felt like he should taken us somewhere else or canceled the trip. He begged for a tip. Very disappointed. Drinks were fine. Take your own snacks and water. The equipment is fine and they gave you tips on how to use it. Please note this wasn't my first time snorkeling. The crew did not help anyone get back on the ship.

Came to Key West primarily to snorkel. We were excited to snorkel here but did not enjoy. Not much to see where we snorkeled and way too many people in the water. Cloudy and few fish. Our least favorite snorkel experience. The boat crew was well organized and helpful. The actual snorkeling was just not good.

Me and my son really enjoyed snorkeling in the coral reef. There were lots of fish to see and even more coral plants with many vibrant colors. If you do go out and do the reef dive we do recommend doing so when the water clarity is good. The boat supplies you with fins and a snorkel and goggles but if you have your own be sure to bring it with you to the reef. The boat ride was good with complimentary drinks and music and even if you wanted to you can volunteer to help put up the mast. Overall a great experience do recommend.
