What To Expect

Choose between a day sail and sunset sail, then make your way to Key West’s Historic Seaport to board the Appledore, a two-masted wooden schooner that's sailed around the globe. The crew will invite you aboard and show you around the broad, comfortable deck, where you can stretch out in the sun, or help ready the boat for the sail.

Premium beer, wine, cocktails and soft drinks will be served during the day sail around the harbor, and sunset sails also feature a cheese platter and Champagne. Throughout your time on board the Appledore you’ll enjoy a relaxing combination of swarm ocean breezes, abundant sunshine and incredible ocean views. This leisurely Key West cruise concludes at the original departure point.

Beautiful evening for sailing. Actually sailing, may get some ocean spray.The crew do everything as sailors did in the 18th and 19th century. They handle the rigging, sail the boat, navigate and serve the passengers. They work this board for 6 months in Key West, then sail the boat to Camden, Maine to work 6 months up there. Very knowledgeable sailors, friendly and fun.
