What To Expect
Your food walking tour starts at a central location in Key West, where you meet your guide and head off the beaten path to less-visited neighborhoods where locals dine at favorite restaurants and other food venues.
Places you visit include a an island backyard bistro with local jerked fish, a family-owned Cuban restaurant, a café known for its fresh roasted Cuban coffee where we will also taste classic key lime pie, and an old speakeasy with rum cocktails. In between tastings, stroll along quieter streets of Key West, taking in the lush trees and other vegetation and listening to insights from your guide about the city's history and stories.
Admire the island architecture and leisurely pace of daily life, and receive tips about other places to visit in Key West during your trip. Your tour ends not far from the starting point.

Q:Are there vegetarian or other dietary options available during the tour?
A:Pescatarians welcome! Substitutions for shellfish, dairy, gluten, and nut allergies are available. Other allergies and dietary preferences cannot be accommodated. Be sure to notate any dietary needs in the "Special Requirements" box at checkout. Also, please note that substitute dishes will NOT always be the iconic Key West dishes that regular participants on the tour receive.

We had a fun time getting to know the southside of Key West with Chris. And enjoyed getting to know the other couple on the tour. The food was great and interesting, we went back to Mangoes for dinner the next day.

Our tour guide Mike was absolutely amazing and knowledgeable! We ate some great food more than enough to keep my wife and I full until dinner if not later. We enjoyed eating at local key west spots while getting history about each and the food we were eating. You also get taken off the path of Duval street into the parts of Key West you might not venture into all while getting history along the way. It was our favorite part of our Key West Trip!

We had a great walking tour with Mike! It was informative, and we could not believe how much food we ate: cuban pork with rice, bread, and black bean soup, conch fritters, conch chowder, mahi mahi with goat cheese, cilantro, and rice, key lime pie, assorted cocktail tastings, and coffee! It was just fantastic. We highly recommend. You will not leave hungry, and you’ll learn some history on a 3-hour tour!
