Overview
See Phang Nga Bay in a more unique way than the typical cruise on this tour. Begin with very early morning departure so you can skip some of the crowds. Watch the sunrise on a hike; visit hidden lagoons by canoe; explore caves; trek into a mangrove forest; see the fight scene location from a James Bond movie; and learn about the legend of a supposedly unclaimed treasure. A boxed breakfast and lunch on a hilltop are included.

Since it's a join-in trip, we will coordinate the exact pick-up time with you again ONE day prior to the trip. Please provide us the correct contact details, hotel name and room number to avoid missing communication. Pick-up time is approximately 3:30 - 4 AM depending on your hotel location. IT'S WORTH THE EARLY START!
What To Expect
After hotel pickup in Phuket before dawn by air-conditioned van, your day trip begins with the drive to a foothill for a short hike to the Samet Nangshe viewpoint, where you can watch the sunrise over Phang Nga Bay. A boxed breakfast snack and coffee or tea is provided here.
Then head back down to the van and make a short drive to a pier for a longtail boat ride with a local captain. Your first stop on the boat is Koh Tapu, aka James Bond Island, known for its appearance in the James Bond film 'The Man with the Golden Gun.' At this early time of day, there shouldn't be the usual crowds, so enjoy a peaceful moment to walk around the fight scene location.
Continue on the boat to explore islands and sea caves, and take a canoe into lagoons, past limestone cliffs, looking for rock formations. Off the boat, you can walk, climb, and duck your way around this masterpiece of Mother Nature, eventually making your way to a 5,000-year-old shell cemetery and mangrove forest, where an old treasure map can be found. Perhaps you can solve the puzzle.
Return to the van, and make your way to a local restaurant on top of a hill for a lunch of freshly cooked dishes. A beer or soft drink is provided to quench your thirst.
Your tour then ends with return to your hotel in the mid-afternoon.

The views were amazing and everything was well organised. We stayed in a far away hotel in NaiHarn but they still picked us up and dropped us back. Our tour guide Pai was very efficient and friendly, and we stayed at each attraction just the right amount of time. The canoe trip was the best for us.

What an incredible tour!
The sunrise trekking to the Phang Nga viewpoint was an absolute highlight of our trip. The pickup was early but so worth it. Hike to the top isn't long but it's challenging because it's on a sand track.
Stopping off at the other points were so fascinating and fun.
My only criticism is it's a long day with nowhere to stop off for food/snacks, so I'd definitely recommend taking some, as lunch is served near the end of the trip before heading back to hotels. (Lunch option for vegetarians was pineapple fried rice which was not enjoyable at all)
MJ our tour guide was fantastic. Absolutely hilarious, even when being picked up at 3.40am. He had a good energy throughout & helped take pics etc

Outstanding tour! Worth the early rise to see the sunrise over Phang Nga and beat the crowds to James Bond Island. Well organized and punctual, the staff super friendly and attentive to our needs. The breakfast was limited but lunch more than filling and very tasty. Our guide Wit was very knowledgeable and worked hard to make sure everyone felt included . The kayaking at Hong and a visit to the caves on Treasure Island icing on the cake. A great day and well worth the money.

What an fantastic tour! The sunrise at Semet Nangshe was absolutely breathtaking and we got to beat the crowds..be prepared to trek uphill for about 20-30 minutes first thing and in the dark. They provide headlamps, but it will be challenging for some. Being winded first thing was not sexy, but got plenty of oxygen to my eyes for those sunrise views. The longboat portion was lovely and showed a different and beautiful perspective. The tide was high given the early tour so James Bond Island wasn't accessible and the cave tour was an experience seeing the raw limestone up close! I would recommend this tour especially for the sunrise and long boat portions!

We had such a great time! A little bit more physically intense than expected but we loved every moment. We really appreciated the timing. Even though it's an early wake up call, we beat all the crowds and had a front row seat for the sunrise. We were able to get to the islands before the park opened and were able to explore by ourselves. Our guide was amazing! Would definitely recommend! Provided hotel pick up and drop off and breakfast and lunch were included. Great experience!

I think that the overall experience is that this was an amazing tour ... even if getting up at 3am was a bit ‘tricky’
But it proved to pay off ... we ended in first row for the sunrise pictures, and being the first and only people on James Bond Island 👍🏼 Afterwards we climbed the small cave and sailed the sea canoes around Hong Island.
You should keep in mind that getting into the hongs is not possible in the morning because of the low tide ... this was in reality our only ‘complaint’
Finally ... a great tour with a good chauffeur, a very capable skipper on the long tail boat and a fantastic guide.

Paul was a great host! We got to see so many magical things and with ZERO crowds, it was so worth it! It wasn't only that we did an early tour, but some of the spots he took us too- only small tour groups were allowed at. It was amazing, I would highly recommend!

Good part:
Morning viewpoint is a must because of it's beauty.
We ware the only group at James Bond.. so no crowd is very good :D.
The guide was nice.
Not so good part:
I booked for a date and because there was no other reservation I was asked to go one day earlier (or cancel or upgrate to a private tour) - so try to stay flexible with dates.
Second, the van arrived 30 minutes late .. and since the tour starts at 03:30 AM I would prefer to knew before so i can sleep more, or that the van would be punctual.
