Lovely day in Bodrum. Although the trip was shorter than expected as the ferry did not arrive until 1.5 hours later with no explanation as to why, so we had less time in Bodrum. Bodrum was lovely though and would still recommend

Timings confusing
venning426, Apr 2024
The boat and crew were fantastic. The passport control on either side were unbelievably incompetent, so disorganised. It’s not like they were doing it every single day! Also much confusion about timings. The ticket said the return sailing time was 1600. As we left the boat a sign was held aloft stating 1500. Factor in the time difference between Kos & Bodrum left us completely lost. It turns out the 1500 sign meant that’s when the passport control opened. A very simple solution would be a sign saying Current time in Bodrum xxxx, Passport Control opens at xxxx, Boat departs at xxxx. So easy to do and no confusion.
Lovely Bodrum

Turkish nightmare

Very long to clear passport controls both ways. The market don't stop wanting you to buy thought there confuse you and rip you off BE WARNED. So not much rest when there.

We love turkey it was nice to go over on our own and do our own thing. We used Apollon 2and managed to get priority tickets so could jump the Que at passport control.
Nice trip!

Yes of course the cue was quite long to get to Turkey but that is nothing special. It is important and part of the deal. Very nice trip with very nice and happy staff and we would definitely recommend it.
Give it a miss

After reading the reviews I was a bit worried about booking this trip. Whilst bodrum is a lovely area to visit, the passport control on both sides is just awful especially the turkey side. We arrived about 11 and was told to be back for 2:45pm so not exactly a day trip more like a couple of hours. When arriving back at 2:45 we were told the gates don’t even open till 3pm so we stood in the blistering heat for around half an hour. Luckily we were one of the first to arrive back so we weren’t in the heat for as long as others who were in it for well over an hour! Some passengers came on with heat stroke as there was no cover when waiting for passport control in turkey. Whilst the idea of a trip to Bodrum is great, the process of getting there makes the trip just not worth it at all.
Great day out to get a taster of Turkey.

Well worth it. Need at least half hour to get through customs each side. About half hour on the water. Bodrum was the first time we had been to Turkey. It was pretty, clean, so many shops that you had to barter in each one, and an eye opener to Turkey. My husband says he would now like to holiday there.. Wish we had brought an empty suitcase for all the designer gear my son bought. Would recommend. needed to get tickets at 8.45am, boat 9.30. Returned to customs around 3 for boat to set off at 4pm. Customs very good, designer gear is waved through as no problem, cigarettes are another matter and very strict about. No issues carrying water through either side ( as you can't on a plane). Brilliant trip.
Great experience

The shops not too expensive , foods are great! I will plan to go Back again just the waiting time in the queue in immigration l😭
Generally ok put avoid bus tour in offer
Niamh_F, May 2023
Overall good service however the Greek port check in is extremely slow and with massive ques even though we arrived at 8.45am and boat was due to leave at 9.30 we just about made it when the company spoke to boarder control. Improvements needed at Greek side where as Turkey side was very efficient. Also they offer a free tour when u get off the bus and we unfortunately took this ‘complete waste of time’ and we were brough to a gold and diamond factory which was ridiculous priced and wit no option to leave which resulted in us waiting 30 mins on the bus to be brought back to port! This wasted precious time in turkey

Great to get across to another country today. The ferry over was OK but on the return it was very choppy water, although that is no reflection on the ferry company obviously. Passport control was as speedy as was possible each way All in all a great day's excursion

Bodrum is lovely for a day trip. Well organised town. However, the majority of the shops sell fake items, so buyer beware. Also its very annoying to be constantly harrassed by shop owners. Its cheap to eat. The museum is a good place to take in the history.

Great lunch on the seafront; lazing in the sun. Women really enjoyed the shopping bazaar beside the port.
Great but be aware of queues
James_W, Jul 2019
Make sure you leave plenty of time to get through passport control on both sides, I would say at minimum 30 minutes.
Ein schöner Tagesausflug
Natalja_G, Aug 2023
Wurden pünktlich vom Hotel abgeholt. Alles reibungslos abgelaufen. Günstiger als andere Angebote vor Ort.
Bodrum OK, Umstände leider nein.
Roland_B, Aug 2023
Immer wieder gerne.
Besser Erklärung wo sich was befindet wäre ok.
Andreas_W, Jul 2022
Leider spricht keiner Deutsch. Zeitangaben waren etwas durcheinander aber im Endeffekt hat alles geklappt. Getränke an Bord sind OK. Wasser 1€ 0,5l und Cola 2 die Dose 0,33l.
