Wish the mosque opened to tourists on the day were there. But we still enjoy it, regardless. Batu cave was crazy. There were so many people around possibly due to holiday seasons. If you could, climb the steps. 😍

Spectacular Putrajaya and Batu Caves

Putrajaya city is spectacular, the mosque is magnificent and the boat tour relaxing in a man made lake. It takes about 50 minutes from Kuala Lumpur. The Batu Caves are exactly in opposite direction, north of KL. We were lucky because we arrived there in the late afternoon, was not to busy. The place is very colorful, Hindu Temples are just like that, beware of the monkeys, they are not afraid of humans. It is worth climbing all the way up and get into the cave. Our driver, Roy, was very nice but had little english and experience, so we couldn't learn much about the places.

Had a great time in Putrajaya and Batu Caves. My guide was Lawrence, a super friendly and knowledgeable individual. He provided in depth coverage of everything. The boat ride and sightseeing in Putrajaya is amazing. Batu Caves is must see especially after Lawrence’s backgrounding on Hindu gods. Lawrence will take amazing photos of your party and promptly send them to you. No need to even bring a camera! Had such a good time that the next day toured Bukit Malawati and fireflies with Lawrence again. Highly recommended!
