Very disappointing, not worth it

Overall, we were very disappointed with this tour. For the price we paid, there is little reward. There is no tour guide, just a driver who drops you off places then sleeps in the car. We expected to walk around the tea fields, try authentic teas, strawberries, etc. All they do is drive you for over 4 hours, drop you off at a little farm (which was actually our favorite stop, but this doesn’t say much), then a lunch, then a small enclosed area where they grow strawberries, then literally just a cafe that overlooks the tea fields. You need to pay extra if you want to walk on the tea fields or buy tea. Super crowded, super unexciting, way overpriced. Then you need to sit for a 4 hour drive home. The 5 other individuals on this tour with my partner and I agreed to just rush through it as fast as we could because we just wanted it to be over. You could not pay me to do it again.

Strawberry picking and...

Strawberry picking and bee farm were nothing special. Liked the tea plantation and butterfly garden. Guide was very knowledgable and good. Lunch was nice. Overall was a nice day, just very long drive to Cameron Highlands, left KL at 7 am and returned to the hotel around 8pm.

Guide was excellent. Indian banana leaf lunch was very good. Local ‘guide’ at strawberry farm and bee museum was very knowledgeable but difficult to understand. Enjoyed ‘honey’ tasting. Enjoyed visit to tea plantation but would Liked more information re: process of harvesting and processing of tea leaves etc

I would not call this a tour; it is more getting you to a key points in the Cameron Highlands; all of them were lovely. The guide did provide a lot of information about the locations we visited. The time at each location was also perfect. Make sure you grab breakfast bc while the lunch is substantial, it is the only included meal (tho are are plenty of places to buy snacks along the stops). The tour is 14 hours long so also make sure you’ve got solid dinner plans (this was due to traffic; the guides did their best to avoid it). There were two bathroom stops along the way from KL, which was great. The bus was air conditioned and comfortable. The bus driver (Mr Ben) and tour guide (MC Paul) were both very nice, knowledgeable and accommodating. If you get motion sick, you should be forewarned; the road in the highlands are curvy. Take/bring something to help with that!

The guide was very good with information and taking us around. Some interesting things to see and do including great strawberries, visiting the tea plantation, butterfly garden and the Cameron Highlad area. But it’s a very long day (almost 16 hours for us) with several hours of driving (horrendous traffic at times). So you have to ask yourself whether it’s worth it.

This Cameron Highlands day trip was one we will never forget. The tour guide, Raja, was fantastic! He did not miss a beat and was attentive to the group and shared all of his knowledge with us… it was obvious that he loves what he does!! It was important to Raja to make sure we enjoyed our experience to the highlands and that was clear. It was an eventful day with a wonderful lunch in the middle. Truly, this day was such a great experience.. we came in to KL at 3:30am and left at 7:15 on the tour. Even as tired as we were, we were so excited to visit Cameron Highlands and we were able to stay awake due to the quality of the trip and Raja’s excitement throughout the day. The other guests in our tour were wonderful as well- overall, the day couldn’t have been better! If you are interested in visiting tea farms, eating delicious strawberries and experiencing the countryside of Malaysia, this is the tour for you. Enjoy- we hope you love this day tour as much as we did!

Long Day but worth it if you have the time.

We found this tour to be incredibly entertaining however We wish there were a few more opportunities to view other Tea plantation sites other than the factory. Also if you are only in KL for 3 or less days I don't recommend this tour due to the fact it takes 12 to 13 hours. I think there are other sites around KL that are more time worthy however if you are here 4 or more days I highly recommend this tour. Just be prepared to spend 8 hours driving time.

Great tour of Cameron Heights

We booked specifically to visit the tea plantation and see a few other places while in Cameron Heights. The tour guide, McPaul Singh, was great! He made the long 3 hour drive from KL to Cameron Heights interesting - giving us stories and history as we drove up and around. We stopped at a golf resort for a tasty lunch with our fellow tourers. We would hugky recommend this tour, especially with McPaul Singh and our driver.

The tour was very well planned, especially considering that we took it on Saturday when the roads in Cameron highlands get very congested. The first stop (strawberry farm and bee farm) was nothing special, the second one (butterfly park) was good, we loved the plants there. The third stop (tea plantation) was fantastic, you could even hike through the plantation a bit. The last stop (waterfall) was also great. The guide was very pleasant and the driver very professional. We really had a wonderful time!

We went on a day tour to Cameron with our guide, Mr Avaali. Throughout the trip, he ensured our needs were met especially travelling with toung kids. He drive us safely to the winding roads of Cameron Highlands and we enjoyed our trip there especially the visits to the Strawberry farm and the bee farm.
